We met on the following Sunday at 11 am, and I really liked the hunger he had - so offered him to shoot all my podcasts. 

Guess what - he learnt by himself how to record videos, how to connect mics with the audio mixer, and ensure the production quality is not compromised. 

Fast forward to today, there’s not a single shoot where he’s not present - and he talks to all the guests freely! 

You don’t need fancy degrees or credentials to do something! All you need is hunger and attitude to learn. No one can stop you from becoming successful. 

If a person’s learning attitude ends, his old age starts to begin!

2 weeks ago, something scary happened.
 
There were 5 of us, who were going to Dhule (a small town which is 7 hours from Mumbai), for seeking blessings of our saints, driving on the highway near Malegaon. All of a sudden, a truck took an immediate right on the highway without giving an indicator. 

We could literally see that we are going to bump into the truck ahead, and 5 seconds prior knew that something scary is going to happen. The car dashed the truck from behind. 

Fortunately, everyone was safe, and no one was injured. 

The driver started crying because he felt it was his mistake, but all of us told him to calm down as it was not his mistake. In fact, everyone was calm after 5 minutes, and the car owner did not even shout for a single second at his driver or panicked regarding the moment – he was extremely calm and grateful that everyone was safe! 

I realized one thing that day – life is uncertain, and there is no point in panicking regarding things that have already happened, or beyond our control. If there was another owner, he could have maybe fired his driver as well for not having the car under control. 

In fact, after 20 minutes, everything became normal, and there were so many people who came for help – right from offering their car so we could go to our destination, to helping us stay at their houses in the village. We reached Dhule the next morning, took blessings from our saints, and left back for Mumbai the same day. 

What felt like a movie scene, was a very big life lesson – always have pure genuine intentions, have control on your emotions, and most importantly, don’t panic / take stress in situations beyond your control. 

Don’t overthink, and be happy / grateful for the life you have :)

My parents visit me in Mumbai every month.

Not for sightseeing.
Not for shopping.
Not because they’re free.

They come to spend time.

Mumbai moves fast.
Work never really stops.
Calls spill into dinners.
Weekends look like weekdays.

So they come.

We don’t do anything fancy.
No big plans.
No luxury.

We sit at home.
We eat together.
We talk.

My mom asks if I’m eating on time.
My dad asks if work is too stressful.
I tell them everything is fine.
They know when it’s not.

Sometimes we just sit quietly.
That silence feels safe.

When they leave, the house feels bigger.
And emptier.

I’ve realised something over the years.

Success feels incomplete if you can’t share it.
Growth feels hollow if your people are not around.
And ambition means nothing if it distances you from those who sacrificed the most for you.

Parents don’t ask for much.
They ask for presence.

Not money.
Not status.
Just time.

In the race to build careers, cities, and futures,
don’t postpone moments that won’t come back.

Work will always wait.
Parents won’t.

If you’re reading this and your parents are nearby, hug them a little longer today.

One day, you’ll wish you had.

And why does it feel like I’ve returned from a foreign trip every single time?

Not even exaggerating.

It’s not just the cold. it’s the prep.
Masks packed.
Oil for the nose packed.
Constant reminder: don’t step out without a mask.

In Mumbai, you forget your phone and go back.
In Delhi, you forget your mask and reconsider going out at all.

Plus the weather, I took off in 5 degrees within an hour landed in 32 degrees LOL

Delhi for 2 days taught me discipline. Mumbai welcomed me back with humidity

5 workplace soft skills no one trains you for (but everyone judges you on)

The ones who stall aren't missing hard skills. They're missing these:

1. You ramble in meetings - Less is more. Say it once, say it well, stop.

2. Your Slack tone is a problem -  "Just circling back!" is not as friendly as you think.

3. You say yes to everything - And now you're overwhelmed, resentful, and replaceable.

4. You react badly to feedback - Even when you think you're hiding it - you're not.

5. You pitch ideas like you're apologising - Stop asking for permission. Start offering solutions.

No one trains you on these. 
But they're exactly what gets discussed behind closed doors.

After training 900+ students with a 98% success rate, this is the one pattern I see again and again:


👉 Candidates place the interviewer on a pedestal.
👉 They forget their own value.
👉 Confidence collapses before the first question.

Let me say this clearly: you are NOT below the interviewer.

An interview is not a favour. It’s a 1:1 professional conversation.

They are evaluating:

-your skills
-your energy
-your mindset
-your time

And in return, they pay you.

-You are offering value.
-They are offering an opportunity.
-That makes you equals.

If you get selected. Great, you earned it.
If you don’t, they’ll forget the interaction the moment you walk out.

So stop trying to impress. Stop shrinking yourself. Start showing up as a professional who knows their worth.

Confidence isn’t arrogance. It’s clarity.

I work from home and I forgot what human connection actually feels like. 


Until last week.

I hosted a success event at PW office in Noida. 

Students from my batch over 2.5 years, students who got placed in top leading private banks.

Many had felt aimless before joining.

A lot struggled with confidence.
Most were told their communication wasn't "corporate enough."

But watching them on stage, I noticed something different:

They weren't just speaking well.
They were connecting.

We've romanticized remote work so much that we've forgotten the one communication skill LinkedIn doesn't teach: Showing up in person when it matters.

The students who traveled hours just because they knew I'd be there? That's a real impact you can feel in your bones.

2.5 years of working from home and it took one event to remind me why I do this.

Sometimes the best communication training happens when you close the laptop.
