I begrudgingly started my career in sales as an SDR at Qualtrics. After realizing there was no way out, I decided I might as well get good at it and qualified for five consecutive President’s Clubs as an AE, front-line leader, and second-line leader. 

After an incredible 8.5 years at Qualtrics, I was recruited to MongoDB, where I ended my tenure leading their North America acquisition sales organization for commercial, midmarket, and lower enterprise segments.

In our family, games are a constant event. 
Board games, word games, puzzle games, hippo games, and yes, even some video games. 

It’s a tradition my wife and I started even before we married, and it’s grown into a cornerstone of our family time together.

In our household we play a lot of:

- Uno
- Hungry Hungry Hippo
- Rummikub
- Chess
- Checkers
- Monopoly
- Sequence
- Battleship
- Gin rummy

Games bring people together in a way few things do. 

They teach strategy, patience, problem solving, and sometimes how to lose gracefully.

They can even help with the basics. 

And every game has multiple layers to it. 

Take Monopoly for example. 

All three of our kids are learning money management, negotiation strategies, cost benefit analysis, and a whole lot more.

For us, it’s more than just playing a game though, it’s about creating moments of connection that last long after the board is put away.

Big change rarely shows up overnight → not in operations, not in occupancy, not in fraud prevention or screening.

Because real progress doesn’t come from one big overhaul → it comes from small, consistent gains that compound over time.

→ Tightening screening workflows.
→ Improving data quality week after week.
→ Training onsite teams to spot red flags earlier.
→ Reducing false positives/negatives one case at a time.

Each gain might feel small in the moment.

But given time and the right kind of pressure, those small steps become something unbreakable:

Like a screening process that’s not just faster or cheaper, but defensible.

It becomes something solid.

Something valuable.

Something built to last.

Time + Pressure = Progress.
