As a newly appointed Ambassador at Integrity Film Finance Fund, I am on an exciting journey to connect innovative investors with the vibrant world of film financing. My role in the fund's ambitious $250 million investment initiative is to uncover unique opportunities within A+++ List films in Hollywood for those seeking to diversify and enrich their investment portfolios. With a fresh perspective in finance and a burgeoning passion for the film industry, my mission is to introduce and guide investors through the captivating realm of cinematic project investments.

Responsibilities:

- Represent the vision and mission of the Integrity Film Finance Fund to a new wave of potential investors.

- Cultivate budding relationships with individuals and groups showing an interest in innovative investment opportunities.

- Coordinate and engage in events and discussions to heighten awareness of the fund’s unique position in the film industry.

Co-founded Venture Starters together with the serial entrepreneur Mark November.

We launched Venture Starters about three months ago with the idea that networking is the key to the success of every startup and early-stage company.

Mark November has been investing in startups for more than 45 years and while the first 25 years were investing in his own ideas, the next 20 years have been about others'.

Venture Starters is where the people who start ventures can meet every Wednesday night for a large-scale zoom meeting with up to 500 attendees.

We just got started and we are pleased that we have over 100 attendees most nights. We plan to grow the community and attendance this fall to even greater heights!

Generally, we have 25 startups do a 2-minute elevator pitch and investors ask a few questions.

The actual networking happens in the Chat section where all attendees can reach out to each other including the founders who give 2-minute elevator pitches.

One of the early-stage companies who gave a 2-minute elevator pitch to raise $1M - $3M during the last two Wednesday events had 15 people reach out to him. 15! 

And the Venture Starters community is growing daily!

Our Venture Starters company page on Linkedin has over 2200 followers and we are getting between 1 or 2 new ones every hour, 24 hours a day. This means that we will probably reach 3,000 within the next 30-45 days. 5,000 is not far behind.

Developed and investigated the technical aspects of a novel synthetic method to synthesize custom double-stranded DNA and performed a market and competitor analysis of the Gene Synthesis industry to identify the potential for commercialization.

Technical Aspects:
• Identified technical issues within the element components and developed software using Python coding language to improve them.
• Compared different methods and developed quantitative simulations using Excel to analyze the yield of custom dsDNA products during each cycle of the process.
• Performed an assessment of potential automation methods (liquid handling robots: Opentrons) to make the process economical and efficient.

Business Aspects:
• Performed a competitor and competitor intelligence analysis of the current oligo & gene synthesis industries to identify limitations of the dsDNA synthesis market.
• Performed cost-to-price evaluation of this novel synthesis process and compared it to the leading players in the market. 
• Identified and discussed the potential of commercializing the synthesis process in a business report.

- Represented the University of Edinburgh (Team Hydrolyte) at the world’s biggest synthetic biology competition in a 10-person team and secured a gold medal at the Giant Jamboree.
- The project was focused on promoting a future hydrogen economy by exploring biohydrogen as an economically feasible alternative. 
- Used genetically engineered Rhodobacter sphaeroides as a novel biological chassis to produce higher yields of biohydrogen using fermentative and photosynthetic pathways (metabolic engineering). 
- Design and develop a foundational photosynthetic microbial fuel panel for the GMO to utilize co-product resources (Beer waste) to produce completely green, renewable, and affordable energy generating technology. 
- Other responsibilities were to gather and generate scientific data to create a research literature reviews, learn, and use graphic designing (Illustrator) to support an all biologist team to create models for website and presentations.
- Presented the project and poster at the UK iGEM Meetup and the Newcastle University Designer Biology Conference. 
- Managed to raise a total funding of nearly $4,000 within a period of 5 months for travel and conference expenditure.

The Centre for Human Genetics 

- Worked under different biology departments such as Cytogenetics, Genetic Counselling, Developmental biology, and Molecular Genetics and observed their collaborative working schemes to facilitate their cutting-edge research. 
- Learnt Eye Karyotyping, Ikaros Karyotyping (software), FISH, cell culturing and harvesting to a professional level.
- Worked on two curiosity driven projects on Drosophila melanogaster in Developmental and Molecular Genetics lab to analyze the development of larval to adult gut and extraction of Polytene chromosomes form the salivary gland using non-conventional methods.
- Worked on a student research project to study the statistics of phenylketonuria variants in India. 
- Prepared an internship experience report at the end of the summer which is now being used as a reference material for current and prospective students (Provided on request).
