We launched Venture Starters about three months ago with the idea that networking is the key to the success of every startup and early-stage company.

Mark November has been investing in startups for more than 45 years and while the first 25 years were investing in his own ideas, the next 20 years have been about others'.

Venture Starters is where the people who start ventures can meet every Wednesday night for a large-scale zoom meeting with up to 500 attendees.

When ROM Utrecht was founded as a regional VC investment firm in July 2020 I was tasked by the managing director to create and lead the the business intelligence & artificial intelligence department. 

I worked with the managing director to create the most intelligent regional development investment agency. This was in connection with my contract position as business intelligence manager at USP.

In this role the team drafted the first regional BI annual plan for launch in 2021. I was responsible for international team coordination, budget for directors/shareholders, the connection between ecosystems in Utrecht and execution of tasks. 

ROM Utrecht has the title as the most intelligent regional investor based upon the BI team.

I managed & led the teams at ROM and Utrecht Science Park that implemented a data system to map all start-ups in the region,  internal CRM, data reports, deep technology sector analysis reports, assistance with due diligence, & high profile foreign  direct investment target acquisition strategy for Brexit and USA.
