I recently had a consultation call with a founder who had pitched to 47 investors in 2 months.
Zero term sheets.

The problem wasn't his business.

It was his approach.

He was trying to be everything to everyone.

His deck mentioned sustainability for impact investors. 
Had deep tech slides for VCs. 
Threw in B2C metrics for consumer angels.

Nobody felt it was for them.

I see this pattern quite often.

Founders with a team of 15.

Just a burning pile of investor cash.

Scale what?

Here's what I tell them...

Stop hiring. 
Stop spending on ads. 
Stop building features nobody asked for.

Go back to 3 people and a laptop.
Find 10 customers who can't live without what you're building.

Not 10 people who think it's "interesting." 
10 people who would be upset if you shut down tomorrow.

That's your signal.

Until you have that, you're not ready to scale. 
You're just burning runway faster.
