My career has been anything but traditional — and that’s exactly what shaped my perspective.

I started in the legal industry, moving from research-based paralegal work into client acquisition and corporate account management. I managed complex compliance projects and high-profile relationships for a global leader in the legal and regulatory space.

Eventually, I realized my fascination wasn’t just with strategy — it was with why people buy, believe, and connect. That curiosity led me into business psychology and marketing research.

After earning my MBA, I launched my own consulting practice focused on brand positioning, messaging, and digital growth. Over time, I discovered my niche: translating human behavior into marketing strategies that drive measurable results.

Today, I serve as a fractional CMO and strategist, helping founders and service-based brands turn identity, perception, and storytelling into growth. My clients have scaled from $0 to $40K/month, grown audiences of 80K+, and built thriving email lists from scratch — all through human-centered marketing.

Outside of client work, I’ve built a thought leadership presence on LinkedIn and through my Substack publication, “Marketing Mindset,” where I share insights at the intersection of marketing, psychology, and behavior. I’m also a two-time author — one self-published, and one traditionally represented — using storytelling and research to bridge theory and real-world practice.

Now, I’m expanding that bridge even further through my Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) — merging academic rigor with practical experience to shape how marketing and consumer psychology are taught, studied, and applied.

At my core, I believe better marketing starts with better understanding people.

Key accomplishments and responsibilities in my role include:
Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients such as Sharp, Stanford, USC, Intermountain Health, and OHSU ensuring successful implementation, onboarding, project management and continuous support of Get Well’s suite of digital tools and patient engagement platforms.

Strategic Consultation: Partner with healthcare leaders and clinical teams to identify opportunities for improvement in patient communication and engagement. Provide actionable insights and data-driven recommendations based on client-specific needs and goals.

Data-Driven Optimization: Utilize patient feedback, data analytics, and platform usage metrics to deliver actionable insights. Drive improvement initiatives aimed at boosting patient satisfaction, reducing readmission rates, and improving overall patient outcomes.

Client Retention & Growth: Develop strong, long-lasting client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and maximizing client retention. Proactively identify opportunities to expand platform usage and upgrade services, contributing to both client success and business growth.

The Valley Health System

In my role I managed and direct Patient Experience initiatives at the Valley Health System, I handled several Patient Experience programs that supported various hospital departments. I analyzed data, implemented action plans, and recommended improvement initiatives to improve CAHPS scores and Hospital Ratings. I also oversaw the management of SaaS programs while leading teams and implementing projects that focused on service excellence, such as:

Managed the Patient Experience program that supports Critical Care, Medical Surgical, Women’s Services, Pediatrics, Ambulatory Surgery and the Emergency Department for a 485-bed hospital.

Administrator for SaaS programs such as Rounds Plus, Press Ganey, Hill-Rom, and Connect Discharge calls. 
Strategically utilizes data from SaaS platforms to drive change and hold teams accountable. 

Worked with senior leadership, physicians, nursing leaders and ancillary teams to improve CAHPS scores hospital wide. Successfully improved scores for Rate the Hospital, Nursing Communication, Doctor Communication and Responsiveness year over year when comparing 2019, 2020 and current data for 2021. 

Served as an internal consultant for unit/department performance improvement initiatives. Responsible for data analysis, reporting and action planning. Meets with supervisors, managers, directors and senior leadership to discuss wins and opportunities. Coach and educates key stakeholders on data, feedback and observations.

Presented Patient Experience data and initiatives at New Hire Orientation, Nursing Orientation, Power Hour, Service Excellence, Nursing Leadership, Hospitalist, Clinical PI, and ED Leadership meetings to foster a culture of excellence for new hires and existing teams. 

Lead multidisciplinary teams & projects focused on service excellence. Data analytics, report/dashboard creation and distribution, coaching/validations, nurse-physician rounding, employee engagement, service recovery, reward & recognition, etc.

Patient Experience

Women's Care Florida

In my capacity as an Administrator (Interim Director of Operations), I oversaw 75+ employees and managed the overall operations, including maintaining office systems and supporting front desk & back-office processes. I also assisted in several company processes, including overseeing programs and process initiatives.

Some of my most notable contributions include:
Managed operations and clinical functions of a multi-location, multi-provider OB/GYN practice. Operational management and oversight of 75 employees to include setting up and maintaining systems ranging from:  invoicing, supplies, payroll, recruiting, staffing ratios, scheduling, triage, billing, provider templates, hospital call calendars, credentialing, front desk and back-office processes.

Responsible for final approval for all practice expenditures to contain cost and increase profits for revenues exceeding $10 million a year with 54,000 in annual patient volume from our four office locations.

Patient Experience: Implemented evidenced based practices for each office location based on data trends. Track, trend, report and train stakeholders on key behaviors and processes that improve patient experience metrics.

Employee Engagement: Facilitate all meetings including but not limited to Staff, Provider, Employee Engagement, Hospitalist and Training & Development Workshops. 

Process Improvement: Access, Quality Metric Improvements, Throughput studies, Employee Engagement, Culture Transformation, AIDET, Marketing (office brochures, TV streaming, pamphlets/handouts, open house, community events), AIUM accreditation, Wayfinding/ Signage, and so on.

During my service at HCA Healthcare, I systemized various functions in implementing best practices and improving the patient experience perception. I systematized functions in managing the Patient Experience program that supports Medical-Surgical, Women's Services, and the Emergency Department. I also managed corporate dashboards, identified trends and reported Patient Experience data to senior leadership. I led multifunctional teams and provided training and orientation to new staff, leveraging my project management and leadership skills by doing the following:

Managed the Patient Experience program that supports Medical Surgical, Women’s Services, and the Emergency Department for a 392-bed hospital.

Responsible for managing corporate dashboards, analyzing data, identifying trends and reporting Patient Experience data to senior leadership, physicians and nursing staff/leaders.

Identifies opportunities for processes improvement; Implements best practices to improve patient experience perception. Provides Customer Service trainings. Orient and Supervise valet, greeters & security personnel. 

Leads multidisciplinary teams & projects focused on Patient Experience: Patient Satisfaction Committee, EAG, and Bed Side Shift Report.

Broward Health

As a Patient Experience Specialist for Broward Health, I was responsible for designing and executing priorities and strategies that fostered a high-performance culture. I efficiently supported the hospital's Patient Experience program, ensuring patient satisfaction and high HCAHPS scores. My broad responsibilities included:

Supporting the Patient Experience program of a 716-bed hospital.  Assists Medical Surgical unit managers with roll-out of best practices directly correlated with unit specific patient satisfaction data trends. Assist with RN interviews to ensure assigned units are hiring for fit. 

Reporting HCAPHS data to Nurse Managers and clinical staff. Oversee hourly rounding and department huddles to provide real time data & produce higher HCAHPS scores. 

Educates staff on service recovery techniques. Assists with patient issues and concerns to ensure problems are resolved real time, as needed.  

Facilitates new hire customer service training, presents on Accountability and Ownership.

My role entailed responding to inquiries, assisting with requests, and maintaining records & databases. I also oversaw other functions in supporting the hiring process by sourcing candidates, performing background checks, assisting in shortlisting, and issuing employment contracts.

Responded to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance.

Maintained records of personnel-related data in both paper and the database and ensure all employment requirements are met.

I was mainly responsible for providing daily ultrasound scans and performing diagnostic exams on Cholesterol testing, Bone Density Screening, Carotid Artery, Abdominal Aorta, and Peripheral Arterial Disease. I implemented process improvement techniques to ensure patient experience and inspire better flow/throughout.

Responsible for providing preventative ultrasound scans, up to 90 patients a day. 

Performs diagnostic exams such as Carotid Artery, Abdominal Aorta and Peripheral Arterial Disease testing’s by applying effective ultrasound practice while ensuring a pleasant patient experience.

Implement process improvement techniques to allow better flow/throughput.

Assists with bone density screening exams and cholesterol testing (blood work).
