I thought I knew what strength was.
Then I watched my wife give birth last week.
We got to the hospital at 8:45. 
By 9:10, the midwife just nodded and said, “active birth” had already started.

The room was quiet. Just us, a midwife, and a student who never left. 
First real sunny day of spring in Norway. 

Sun pouring through the window, right onto my wife’s face.
She loved it.

First few hours, my job was simple. The midwife and I took turns massaging her lower back. I brought water. Lip balm when she asked. 

During the pushing, I had one job: hold her head tight to her chest.

15 hours. That’s how long it took.

The last hour is burned into me.
Every thirty seconds: push, hold her breath, do it again.

At one point she looked at me and said, “I’m done. I want to go home. He has to come out now.”

Minutes later, she was thanking the midwife. Even apologizing for being loud.

In the middle of all that pain, she kept saying “I love you.”  Thanking me for being there. That undid me.

Men love to talk about strength.
But what I saw was something else entirely.

When I finally saw my son’s head and realized he was actually coming, time did something strange. Everything slowed down. I could touch him the moment he landed on his mother’s chest.

Five fingers. Five toes. All there.

Later, my wife even had enough energy to joke:
“Honey… how was watching your favorite restaurant burn down?”

The whole room laughed.
Then something I didn’t expect: the doctors, midwives, and students started singing the Norwegian “Happy Birthday” song to my son.

Simple. Quiet. Perfect.

If women didn’t do this, none of us would exist.
Not one of us.

I always respected women.
But after seeing this, that respect is on a whole new level.

My son is here. 
His mother is a warrior.
Today, I’m the happiest man alive.

I unfollowed 600+ people and accidentally created my biggest LinkedIn problem. No, it’s not reach.
It’s not time either... and

It’s not “I should comment 200 times per week to hack visibility.”

It’s this:
I open LinkedIn and… there’s nothing to comment on.

Okay, not nothing. But random stuff. People I don’t really know. 
Topics I don’t care about. Zero overlap.

2 years ago I followed everyone. My feed was loud, chaotic, kind of fun.
Now it’s quiet, too quiet.

And here’s the funny part: everyone says “comment more if you want to grow.”

I would. Gladly. I actually enjoy commenting.
I just need people worth showing up for.

So here’s my very serious business strategy for today:

If you write sharp stuff, if you have a problem with growing, if you’re building something real.

Drop a comment here.

I’ll check you out.
If we’re aligned, I’ll follow.

And today, at least, we can boost each other like two adults who actually care.

Let’s stir this thing up a bit.

You don’t hate writing. You hate not knowing if it’s good enough.
Founders understand that writing builds credibility. 
That part is obvious. The friction starts... 
after you open a blank document.

You write something. 
Then the internal audit begins:

Does this sound arrogant?
Why did the last post flop?
Am I rambling? 
Is this too basic? 

Now you’re not building the company. You’re managing doubt.
Yes, you can use AI. It will generate something polished. 

But tools don’t fix positioning, judgment, or clarity. Without writing experience, content becomes a time sink and a quiet mental drain.

You should be building the business. 
Closing deals, improving products, and hiring well.

Unless you genuinely want to master writing. But that’s another skill stack, and it takes time.

One of my recent clients had no time and no structure. She tried doing it herself first. Then she chose differently.

The biggest shift wasn’t better posts. It was fewer question marks in her head.

P.S. She prefers paying me in cash instead of paying in stress and lost time. She focuses on what she can do at 100%, without questioning herself every time she hits publish.
