I help diverse professionals to break through unconscious bias so they can be seen, heard & valued.

What is a diverse professional? Women, minorities, introverts, LGBTQIA+, neurodiverse… anyone who looks, sounds, or thinks different from others in the workplace.

It’s me. I’m a woman, Asian, an introvert, who looks really young. 

In past corporate roles, I felt frustrated, like I could do more, but I wasn’t always given the chance. The confusing thing was, I was getting fantastic feedback. 

There wasn’t any obvious bias or anything overtly intentional… but that didn’t change the fact that I wasn’t where I knew I could be. 

Unfortunately the traditional advancement system puts diverse professional at a disadvantage. Unconscious bias sneaks in, without people noticing - because it disguises itself as logic. 

It took me a while… but I found a way to break through - outside of the system. 

If the normal path to advancement:
- giving your all in quality work, 
- increasing your expertise, 
- directly asking for more

isn't allowing you to move forward...

	Analyze sales for selected business store which are supported by Samsung to ensure they are fulfilling the agreement they signed with Samsung and report to Retail Manager for strategic action.
	Analyze incentive scheme for floor staff and prepare payment request in time for them to be paid as first as possible as this will increase sales for Samsung and also motivate the floor staff to sell more Samsung products instead of competitor brands.
	Claim analysis for disties partnering with Samsung for efficient and timely payment of their claim as they have used their money to do promotions on behalf of Samsung.

	The distributors were able to be paid in time and this has greatly improved their relationships with their customers and it has also boost the business.

I reported to the Head of Marketing with a dotted line to the General Manager. My duties & responsibilities included
Marketing Strategy
	Implement the Kapari Limited strategy in the country for both premium (flagship) & mass market.
	Develop and manage the regional marketing agenda, distributor sales initiatives and drive execution of marketing plan.
	Team management, preparations of payrolls, data analysis,  Datapod administrations and data mining.
	Evaluate effectiveness of marketing initiatives by measuring ROI &contribution to market share.

Marketing Performance Management
	Manage the sales business unit budget and provide input for budget forecasting.
	Provide market intelligence reports and competitor analysis.
	Provide oversight and leadership on process & system improvement to enhance quality and efficiency within the business.

Key Contributions
	Managed the relaunch of Windhoek Lager and draught into the Nairobi Region market, which delivered a 20% increase compared to same period previous year.

Data Analyst.

INFORTRACK RESEARCH AND CONSULTING COMPANY.

I reported to the Project coordinator. My duties and responsibilities included. 

Data collection, data mining, data cleaning and partly data analysis.
	Data collection which was an initial stage in strategic report making.
	Supervising data collection, ensuring quality of data collected by the team.
	Assisting data analysis department in analysis and report writing.
	Organize Brand events and vet proposals/ requests given.
	In charge of data cleaning, this ensures that the report is as accurate as possible by preparing data for analysis.

Market Research, market intelligence and Innovation.
	Liaise with external research agencies for consumer testing.
	Provide monthly data for management decision making.
	Analyze key competitor initiatives.




Key Contributions
	Champion the introduction of incentive scheme for data collectors and this enhance  the data collection greatly, after implementation the data collection were done in less time hence saving on cost.
