As a Co-founder of Social Impact Solutions, I specialize in helping healthcare and public health nonprofit organizations measure, communicate, and expand their impact. My passion is partnering with mission-driven organizations to strengthen their capacity for evaluation, secure sustainable funding, and ultimately improve community health outcomes. By blending my expertise in nonprofit strategy, social impact research, and program evaluation, I equip organizations with insights and tools to achieve lasting change.

I hold a Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) in Health Education from Loma Linda University, a Master of Science in Nutrition from Clemson University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Honors Pre-Health Sciences from Oklahoma State University. My academic research focused on advancing nutrition education in medical curricula and promoting lifestyle behavior change within healthcare—foundations that continue to inform my work in the nonprofit sector. I am also a Diplomate of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine (DipACLM).

Over the years, I have served in national leadership roles with the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, including Vice President of Research and Vice President of the Trainee Executive Board. Through nonprofit consulting, conference presentations, and published research, I remain committed to advancing evidence-based practices and amplifying the voices of organizations working at the intersection of healthcare, nutrition, public health, and community well-being.

   • Educated 47 university students to work directly with manufacturers and incorporate local manufacturing earlier into their design processes, resulting in 21 product case studies.
   • Exposed over 200 makers, entrepreneurs and manufacturers to design thinking through a collaborative workshop.
   • Piloted program that has educated 80 low-income high school students on incorporating design thinking into advanced manufacturing career opportunities through hands-on workshops.
   • Received 2016 Chicago Community Trust Acting Up Award for work with high-school manufacturing students.
   • Invited to share ‘future of manufacturing’ knowledge at various events, including workforce development organizations and The White House Office of Science and Technology Policy’s Manufacturing Stakeholder Event.

Created partnerships and planning programs that help link Designers and Manufacturers in order to revitalize local manufacturing communities.
