Hi, my name is Dr. Layne McDonald. I have over 20 years of film and television experience, working on fantastic projects with genuinely talented and passionate people. Coming from NPR radio in high school to working on indie films and finding myself amid giants on "Passion of the Christ," "City of Ember," "I Am David," and "Polar Express," I was quickly blessed to work on music videos in Hollywood and sit at the feet of some of the most unique talents in Hollywood history. Today, I have journeyed through those great halls of film music and even worked as a Media Director for a well-known and respected bank. I have had incredible mentors along the way and am blessed to work with amazing people with big hearts and unique spirits. I am blessed to be a blessing.

With a Ph.D. in Administration and Management and a Master's in Communications, I co-founded I Love You Period and founded You Upgraded. As the Founding Communications Director for United for Life Foundation, my mission is to elevate everyone’s creative selves, helping them achieve their greatest potential through faith, love, and innovative strategies.
