Sales Executive

Tasked by the CEO to establish a Services Delivery office in Warsaw, this has been quite a versatile and multi-stage experience. The main stages included:

1. Setting up office. I researched and gained experience in:
- local incorporation laws;
- office rental market specifics;
- working and partnering with local players to allocate and evaluate the optimal options;

2. Supporting the main office hiring
Upon securing the office space and all formalities sorted, I worked as a sole office resident to ensure the experience of new office hires would be as close as possible to that at our established locations.

This required learning multiple specific fields as well as collaborating remotely with about 10 departments from the main office as well as several local companies servicing us.

After setting up infrastructure working with Information Systems and Purchasing departments, I worked closely with HR, HH, accounting, production management, office services, top management, IT and other departments, as well as initially meet with the newly hires, working on timely paperwork and office equipment setup, support requests, etc.

Within this stage I researched and gained experience in:
- workplace setup process;
- types of employment;
- local labor code, regulations and processes;
- employee relocation;
- costs of timely decision making;
- channeling communications;
- the importance of structured goals, workflows and playbooks.

Within several months in order to maximize the output and timely results of the process, I was able to create a comprehensive playbook/wiki for all the involved departments and contact points, in order to use as a manual for any aspect of decision making around terms, norms and limitations in Warsaw office.

3. Gradual handover to Production department
After drafting the playbook and structuring activities, I was joined by one of the colleagues to support gradual handover and they managed to take over all 150+ activities with hiring a dedicated role.
