In my twenties, I battled deep depression.
At 30, burnout hit me so hard I genuinely thought I needed to be hospitalized.

But instead of collapsing further… something shifted.

In just 3 months, I completely rebuilt myself:

Lost 25 kilos

Quit alcohol

Regained energy and mental clarity

Felt peace for the first time in years

Rewired myself physically, emotionally, and mentally

It changed everything.

I left my job.
And made a commitment that still guides me today:

To help people become the version of themselves they’re truly meant to be.

My career has been anything but traditional.

I’ve worked in finance.
I’ve worked in hospitality.
I’ve been a boxing trainer, a beach manager in Curaçao, a personal trainer at the Zuidas…
And today I coach founders and ambitious professionals to redesign their lives from the inside out.

Looking back, all of these seemingly random chapters were connected by one thing:

I’ve always been driven to unlock human potential — starting with my own.

But the truth is, my passion was forged in fire.

In 2012, I hit the hardest wall of my life: a severe burnout that took away everything familiar.

I couldn’t work.
I couldn’t sleep.
I couldn’t even leave the house without panic attacks.

It forced me to confront a painful but liberating truth:

👉 I wasn’t living in alignment with who I truly was.

And when your life is out of alignment long enough, and you don't listen to the signals...your subconscious will make you listen.

My burnout forced me to pause, to feel, to reflect.

And decide.

And I walked away from the “safe” path.
Not because it was easy, but because my soul refused to stay silent.

I had to start living in alignment with who I really was.
But first, I had to reconnect with life.
So I moved to Curaçao with one rule:

“If it excites me, I do it.”

I had to start loving life again, reconnect, and mostly remember who I truly was.

Because to be honest, after years of suffering, I had forgotten.

But after a year of YOLO, reality hit — financial reality — and I returned to the Netherlands.

No job.
No safety net.
No support system
Straight into welfare.😮

Another chapter began.
But this time, the destination was different.

I decided it was time. Time to step into the Tony Robbins version of myself.

I learned how to teach, how to motivate, how to raise energy in a room.

I became a personal trainer.
Then a lifestyle transformation specialist.

And finally, in 2020, after years of learning, failing, rebuilding, and experimenting, I stepped fully into the work that had been calling me since my burnout:

To inspire, motivate, and help as many people live their greatest potential.

🔥 Maxyourlife.today was born, a coaching platform anyone who refuses to settle for a life below their potential.

Since then, my world has become an ecosystem of impact:

Today I help high potentials step into that identity—the version of themselves they always felt inside but couldn’t access.

Because I believe that everyone has greatness within them. And if they live to their full potential, they'll be a force of good in the world as well.

That is my deepest mission: to create impact by helping people step into their zone of genius and live it to the maximum of their capacity.
