The platform made some monetization and content structure changes that made it almost unbearable so I left for many years, but 

I'M BACK BABY. 

They've worked through their growth pains and I'm dialed in on AEO strategy so Quora will be a key part of that plan.

And you would be correct. 



HOWEVER, I do not do this by myself. 

I focus on learning, thinking, operating and writing great content. 

Then I have a full team of partners an freelancers that help me bring it life. 

I have folks that edit my youtube videos for me, that create clips for my content, that format my newsletters and make the Canva banners. 

I have a team that helps me collaborate with brand partners. 

I have robust Claude prompts built into projects to help me ideate and plan. 

I schedule all of my content on every platform except threads where I just share shower thoughts. 



So, yea, it is insane, but it is also my passion, my calling to share all of his wisdom + I have a great team that helps make it possible.

Today I’m grieving as both a son of an immigrant and a nurse. The American Nurses Association shared sorrow over the death of registered nurse Alex Pretti, a caregiver, a healer, someone who chose nursing as his path of service and who was taken far too soon.

My own story began with a mother whose family left their home country of Germany to experience the then American dream. She graduated nursing school and passed the NCLEX when I was 5. As a nurse, she taught me that nursing is more than a profession. It is a commitment to life, human dignity, and the sacred work of being present with people in their most vulnerable moments. So today, I feel this loss deeply.

Alex’s life reminds us of the risks nurses face every day, not just in hospitals and clinics, but in the world around us. Nurses show up to heal, to protect, and to comfort. They carry compassion into every room they enter. When a life like Alex’s is cut short, we are reminded that healing must also include safety, justice, and accountability.

I’m thinking about what it means to build systems and communities where caregivers can thrive without fear, where our humanity is protected as fiercely as our patients’ well-being. How do we, as a society, hold space for the safety and dignity of those who spend their lives caring for others?

As a father and as a leader, this image spoke to me.

“It’s not supposed to be like this.”

Our children are watching us. They are learning from how we speak, how we lead, how we treat people who are different from us, and how we show up when the world feels heavy. Right now, there is too much noise fueled by fear, hate, violence towards others, and division. And not enough love, peace, and courage.

I believe deeply that leadership starts at home and extends into every space we influence. Our kids do not need perfect parents or perfect leaders. They need adults and leaders who choose empathy over ego, unity over outrage, and love over fear. They need us to model what it means to protect humanity, dignity, and hope.

This world can be better. But only if we decide to be better. For them.

What helped you keep going when the world tried to dim your light?

Pride is not about being loud or asking for attention. For me, it is about survival. It is about standing here today despite moments when family and others tried to erase who I am, to tell me I should be smaller, quieter, different, or invisible.

There were seasons when being my authentic self felt risky. When love felt conditional. When silence seemed safer than truth. And yet, here I am. Still standing and still loving. Still choosing to live honestly and with heart.

Pride reminds me that resilience is real. That my story matters. That no one gets to decide my worth or rewrite my existence.

Have you ever watched a TV show and thought, this feels like it was filmed about my life?

That’s exactly how I felt watching Heated Rivalry and seeing Scott Hunter’s journey unfold. His story mirrors mine in ways I never fully admitted out loud.

For a long time, I lived with a fear I didn’t know how to name publicly. I was afraid to fully accept and share who I truly was as a gay man. I worried about how my family would react. I feared I might fail my children. I wondered if being open about who I am could somehow jeopardize my work, my reputation, my purpose.

Those fears kept me boxed in, performing courage I didn’t feel and holding back pieces of myself I longed to share. It wasn’t bravery. It was fear disguised as strength.

What I’ve learned on the other side of that fear is this: vulnerability is not weakness. It is connection. It is what allows us to show up fully for the people we love and the work we care about. Real courage is saying, “Here I am,” even when your heart is shaking.

Workforce development without equity isn’t a strategy. It’s a blind spot.

If people don’t see themselves in the future of work, if they don’t have early exposure, clear information, or real pathways forward, we shouldn’t be surprised when talent shortages persist and trust erodes. Equity is how we move from opportunity being accidental to opportunity being intentional.

Career awareness has to start early, be honest, and be accessible. Pathways must be visible, supported, and designed for real lives, working adults, caregivers, first-generation learners, and those who have been historically overlooked. When we do this well, we don’t just fill jobs. We unlock purpose, dignity, and mobility.

Let me ask you something real.

How often do we let someone else’s inability to see our worth shape how we see ourselves?

Your value doesn’t decrease because someone else can’t recognize it.

As leaders and as humans, we sometimes internalize silence, dismissal, or lack of recognition as a reflection of our worth. It isn’t. It never was.

Your value is rooted in who you are.
In how you show up for others.

In the care you give, the love you extend, and the impact you make even when no one is watching.

Not everyone will have the capacity, awareness, or courage to see you fully. That does not make you smaller. It simply reveals their limits.

I’ve learned this the hard way. And I’ve learned that honoring your own worth is an act of leadership. It is how we protect our energy, our purpose, and our humanity.
