• Lead development of internal admin dashboard full-stack application in Next.JS / TypeScript to streamline the company’s process of vetting freelancer applications
• Extended a Rails API by adding new models and features such as a notifications system

• Devised and coordinated solutions to the fulfil the IT needs of this fast-growing Tokyo startup.
• Acted as architect and lead developer on a large project to completely overhaul the main company website, migrating away from their legacy Wordpress application to a more modern CMS approach using Prismic CMS with a Next.JS frontend.
• Coordinated with a designer to translate designs from Figma into code and advise on best practices for moving forward.
• Project managed, designed and developed software applications including an online service for taking deposit payments and a 3D configurator allowing customers to build their own camper van. 
• Received universal praise from stakeholders and have increased company sales as a direct result of customer interaction with it. 
• Maintained and improved reliability of the company's website.

Kingsdown Breads

• Rapidly developed complete end-to-end e-commerce solution for UK-based family baking business. I built the application in Ruby on Rails with Stripe API for payments.
• Designed custom backend data models around the unique requirements of a bakery.
• Successfully ran site in production without significant incident for 1.5 years. 
• Took thousands of orders, including those from regular repeat customers, and received praise for ease of use.

• Helped hundreds of students by answering their support tickets to boot camp exercises about Ruby, database design, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS.
• Lead stand-up-meetings during student project weeks to help them direct their focus as a team to build MVPs in Ruby on Rails.
• Received consistently positive feedback from students across every batch over the last three years.
