Edvisor is the leading and award-winner B2B SaaS scale-up company providing software for education recruitment around the world. It allows for the end-to-end student recruitment for universities, schools and other industry stakeholders.

- Product leader responsible for kick-starting the product area, by hiring and managing a team of 21 (9 direct reports) in the span of 6 months.
- Implementing and scaling the product process, by implementing OKRs/NCTs, north-stars, workshops and stakeholder alignment/communication. Resulting on a clear quarterly roadmap, idea management, and most important company-wide buy-in of key stakeholders, such as sales, marketing, data and executives.
- Leading a complete core product revamp (big bets initiatives), from UI to technical aspects, aiming to reform our infrastructure to enable faster development, higher-quality and scalability. The outcome was a product and technical strategy that revamped the product in small steps, replacing and adding value to features where they were the most impactful and consequential.
- Implementing personal growth programs (structured coaching), from courses and mentorship to workshops and keynotes, we’ve analysed the person and company-wide skill gap to increase our team performance, leading to increased accountability, process improvements and collaboration/innovation.

- Product leader with a team of 8 direct reports (PM + design team) responsible for the product suite of the biggest revenue-generating consumer base in the company including user acquisition, engagement and retention in order to help our B2B customers rely more on the ApplyBoard platform.
- Scaled cross-cultural product team from 2 to 8 members within 6 months and adopted a “context-driven” leadership style which includes ensuring my team has the right information and context to carry out their roles and seeking to understand before being understood when things don’t go right. This resulted in a team culture of trust and high engagement.

[Successful Exit] EducationLink was a B2B SaaS, and one-sided marketplace company providing services to colleges, universities and other businesses in the international education sector. 

-Scaled B2B SaaS AAR (Annual recurring revenue) revenue from 0 to 6 figures in 2 years.
Introduced a one-sided insurance marketplace that quickly took over the SaaS revenue, highest growth, highest revenue product.
- Hired a small team of 3 software engineers, 2 sales and 1 marketing across Australia.
Worked with sales and marketing teams to automate our sales-process using Hubspot Professional suite. - From CRM and Sales to Services and Marketing packages. In conjunction with SEO, Google and Facebook Ads, it lowered our cost of acquisition by 70%, and time to payment from 27 days to 14 days.
- Acted as the CTO, collaboratively defining and setting up AWS VPCs, CI/CD pipelines, disaster recovery plans (including use of event-driven microservice architecture), and migration to Google Cloud. Which allowed us to decouple and de-duplicate key parts of the system, lower number of bugs, and increase feature development time.

- Full-stack software development using Vue.js, Meteor.js, Node.js and MongoDB, responsible for the creation of re-usable common components aiming to increase general development productivity and code quality.
- Acting as Business Analyst to create, catalogue and translate business requirements into technical specifications, while managing project documentation in order to guarantee quality and timely delivery.
- Liaising with design and UX to shape the final solution, enabling the teams by providing technical knowledge and ideas, and consulting on their proposals, to bring the most efficient, innovative and high-quality solution.

HSBC Brazil

As a member of the Internet Management team I was involved in multiple areas of the Brazil internet business (specially internet and mobile banking) from sales and marketing to IT and operations. I represented the interests of HSBC Brazil on global projects with HSBC Global (UK) and Hong Kong.

- Working with HSBC Global to define the requirements of the new Global Internet Banking Platform to be implemented in Brazil, requiring an assessment of all features and behaviours from authentication levels, to account balances, money transfer and statements.
- Reviewed and proposed a new authentication model for internet services (Internet Banking, Mobile and ATM), that aligned HSBC Brazil with HSBC Global while allowing for very specific and competitive market needs in Brazil.
- Responsible for the Internet Management Innovation team (managing one person), to come up with innovative ideas using gamification, big data and other trends. It resulted in the Global project Money Management, implemented across HSBC worldwide and the Gamified Customer Profile. Other projects included, the automation of physical PIN issuing (700%+ efficiency), Credit Card Rewards automation, and product development/deployment process improvements.
- Managing and mitigation of risks for the Internet Banking team, which included collaborating with IT and other areas such as Change Delivery to close threats to HSBC’s internet business.
- Creating project requirements using Agile (Agile@HSBC), such as user stories, testing cases, acceptance criteria and others.
- Working with the legal and procurement teams to review, adjust and improve Internet Banking related contractors and service providers.
