From 2003 and on into 2005, I was was lucky enough to be involved in a dynamic period of a West Australian Technology Success story. Initially engaged as a Jnr. electronic design engineer, I lasted a week, before on Friday afternoon Steve Rakoczy, the MD, asked me to review a Vietnamese tender. When I delivered results back inside the afternoon, I believe accurately, I started Monday in a fresh new office of my own upstairs! Thus the adventure began.

This was an exciting fast paced learn, apply, challenge - rise above period of my life. Completely new to this industry I flew out to Project Manage and Install and Commission a project in Singapore within the month. This was successfully delivered inside expectations.

As a Deloitte Tech 200 company, I was lucky to work with amazing teams, leading experts in the fields of electronics, software, international business and meteorology to name just a few.

Highlights included, many relationships made. Including a spot on 60 Minutes, representing Australian export to Eastern Europe, with my work in the area, fostering stronger bus. and gov. relationships between our countries. Another was being a presenter and Australian representative in a team of 5, in Australia's multi $B bid for China's airport expansion projects. I personally enjoyed a well timed stop over at Octoberfest in Munich on a layover :)

Background:

Thesis:

I've absolutely loved being across multiple departments, and am so grateful for the opportunities I've been given.

 Here's a brief overview:
- Customer Success: Managed a portfolio of up to 40 clients at a time, delivering tailored strategies, training, and support. I was routinely celebrated for my exceptional relationship building and in-depth support for each of my customers. 

- Marketing: Spearheaded content development for 6 social media platforms, email marketing, events and anything to assist with acquisition and driving brand visibility. As the company grew, I then became a leader to a social media assistant, while also running a Marketing Internship program.
  
- Operations: Led a team of 8 web developers and coordinated with an international team, ensuring seamless project execution.

- Product: conducted Quality Assurance testing to enhance product quality and user experience. This involved developing a testing and reporting framework for consistency and standards. 

- Recruitment: was responsible for advertising, sourcing and interviewing across our development and marketing teams in the early stages of the company, creating our core team. 

- Leadership Stakeholder Management: Collaborated and reported directly with senior leadership, contributing to strategic decision-making and company growth.

As a Content Coordinator, my responsibilities included:
- Creating and distributing content for our social channels, including LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook.
- Writing long-form articles for our website 
- Liaising with various Business Units and external stakeholders to promote initiatives and highlight RAC's involvement in the WA community.

I managed all sales, marketing and event sponsorship requirements for the state, reporting to the Regional Field Manager. 

Responsibilities
- Working within the State Leadership Team in a marketing and administrative capacity
- Liaise with the internal marketing department based in Melbourne, to plan, execute and support all branding and communications to the sales team in the state
- Coordination of social media content with external marketing agencies 
- Execute marketing campaigns and promotions with external marketing agencies 
- Manage and support internal communications with the sales team in the execution of sales activities and market insights
- Provide general administration support and assistance to the Sales Leadership team, reporting to the Regional Field Manager for the state
- Manage Regional Field Managers calendar as required (schedule meetings etc.)
- Conduct detailed performance analysis and reports for the Sales Leadership team on a weekly basis
- Maintenance and distribution of KPI reports
- Coordinate WIP (Work in Progress) meetings and manage WIP documents to track the development of projects
- Coordinating every aspect of event planning for campaigns and promotional work. Events included the Busselton Iron Man and Rottnest Channel Swim which catered to over 10, 000 people
- Manage event budget and keep within budget requirements
- Organise team building days and social events, including catering, transport, venue hire and seating arrangements.
