Created in 1982 to introduce a new generation of European leaders to the United States, it now prepares leaders from both sides of the Atlantic for transatlantic relations. GMF awards 75 Marshall Memorial Fellowships each year to candidates from all sectors, including business, government and civil society. The MMF alumni network numbers more than 2,500 leaders. All profits (that’s right, 100%) from the brand and its products are directed towards initiatives dedicated to restore and protect the Ocean.

Within our clothing brand, Ocean Born Lifestyle, I manage the B2B operations and sales along with the planning and execution of marketing campaigns and activation events.

PYRATEX®

PYRATEX® is an R&D company and textile supplier working with natural & innovative resources to improve the functionality and responsibility of knit textiles. They develop and supply our quality knits to other brands through collaborations. All materials are made from either vegetal, upcycled or biodegradable fibers. The vegetal fibers originate from different plants, which give the fabrics their unique functionality. 

Within the Business Development team, I took care of the European, Asian, Australian and African markets assisting brands in making the perfect fabric selection for their collections, assisting from conception until collection launch.

My role included but was not limited to:

Identifying, creating, and building relationships with key clients and partners
Creation of strategic proposals for top brands
Reviewing of technical sheets and supervision of garment production for STUDIO deals 
Monthly reporting and forecasting of sales

The Venture Lab, IE's startup incubator, is designed for students and alumni to explore market opportunities, incubate ideas and accelerate business. I had the pleasure of taking part of this two-month program which allowed me to grow my business, "The Kulture" from an idea to a reality, as well as pitch it to investors. I was able to launch my first event two months after completion at the ABC terrace on Calle Serrano in Madrid.

One of the first things I remember getting as a child was my passport. My parents, both immigrants from Haiti, wanted my younger sister and I to have the opportunity to see - the world, its people and its beauty.

My childhood was dedicated to travel and exploration, giving me the chance to see incredible waterfalls in Bali and beautiful ceremonial offerings in Thailand but at the same time, I also was able to see great need. The need for compassion. The need for solutions.

My upbringing contributed to the creation of a passionate and curious individual who is addicted to the growth and the advancement of the collective. For that reason, I've dedicated my academic and professional career to philanthropic and sustainable causes...not because they "look good" on paper, but because they FEEL GOOD and it's through empathy and togetherness that we can make long-lasting and impactful changes on society.
