Takeaway for founders and top managers: the fastest way to de-risk a Web3 initiative is to agree on responsibilities before writing code.

In the last few days I shared the core idea: Web3 failures rarely come from one layer. They come from unclear boundaries between UI expectations, wallet identity, backend policy, data freshness, and on-chain execution.
So here is a practical leadership move for 2026: require a one-page “stack contract” before you fund build-out.

It should define what is on-chain vs off-chain, how identity is represented, what the source of truth is for reads, and what the user sees in every state from pending to final.
