3 years ago, we started our flagship event with a simple belief: if blockchain was to work in traditional finance, the right people needed to be in the same room

Last Wednesday in Tokyo, our 4th edition of ONCHAIN 2026 - Blockchain Summit - brought together 550+ leaders across Japan and internationally. Hosted by Credit Saison Co., Ltd. and Pacific Meta, and executed by our team at Onigiri Capital, this year felt like a turning point

In 2025, I spent more than 100 days on the road

Sometimes it’s a long overnight flight across the Pacific to the US or Brazil. Other times it’s a quick hop across Asia. But the routine ends up looking similar: red-eyes, airport coffee, and meetings that start right after landing.

Travel like that makes you appreciate how much the basics matter.
