Victa is a Manager with Ernst & Young Advisory Services (Performance Improvement - Information Technology Advisory). Prior to this, he was a Chief Technology Officer of Big Data Ocean (BDO).

Victa's main focus is on delivering real business value using emerging technologies (focusing mainly on Blockchain), through supply chain integration and enhancement, end to end product provenance and distributed contract management. His experiences include Ethereum and Quorum, Hyperledger, SAP Leonardo, Stellar implementations, business integration, development management, and business development with various clients across industries such as life sciences, consumer goods and services, banking, Oil and Gas, and marine insurance.

Victa has regional exposure to countries including Singapore, Korea, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, and Australia. Victa has experiences in key client facing roles throughout his career mostly around Tier One telecommunication providers, government and public sector and Banking institutes in the APAC region.

As a technology lead, Victa is responsible for reviewing, approving and vetting Blockchain opportunities, proposals and architectures across the APAC Blockchain teams. He is responsible for ensuring that the proposed architectures, resources, timelines and technologies align to EY's Global Blockchain vision and standards.

Blockchain Technical Lead for a Korean Banking conglomerate to develop a Blockchain-based solution (Proof of Concept) for redeeming gift vouchers. Lead a multi-disciplinary team across Israel, UK, India, Korea and Singapore to provide Smart Contract auditing, solution architecture, development, devops and a Blockchain-based e-wallet using Agile Methodology and Scrum.

Our proven flagship products are BQM and BA3, developed in-house to solve the Real Time Big Data needs for different industries, specialising in Telecommunications and Cyber Security and Threat Analytics.

We help organisations collect, understand, and act on their data. Its all about Big Analysis, Big Answers, and Best Actions (BA3)

Clarity

Working with these technologies in a Tier 1 Telecommunications Companies in Asia. The focus is on Customer Experience Management, Customer Profiling, Churn, Revenue Assurance and Contextual Marketing, Sentiment Analysis. 



My role is to lead a team of developers to build a solution for visualisation, analysis, and diagnosis of key business impacting areas. This requires a lot of discussion with key stakeholders in the project, managing deliveries and roadmaps, converting business requirements into technical specifications for developers and designers.

Netezza (Twinfin48) Data Warehouse, ETL processes



The data volumes are in the order of 15 billion inserts of CDRs per day (expected to grow substantially with the introduction of LTE probe data) processing volumes in excess of a few Petabytes. The data warehouse processes data to be consumed by a high performance UI within 15 minutes of receiving the data from the ETL. The goal is to provide a near-realtime response to events in the network. The Data Warehouse can respond to most heavy queries within a few seconds.


Future work is even more exciting, but I've run out of space unfortunately.

Big Data Analyst and Developer

Started out as a graduate, worked my way up the ranks to Senior Software Engineer. 

Developed much on the job experience working with networks in large telecommunication companies (Tier 1 and Tier 2) configuring the Clarity System. 

Focused mainly on collection of Performance related collection of information against NMS (Huawei, Samsung, Motorola) and CISCO/JUNIPER/HUAWEI routers and switches.

Worked with customers implementing Jeopardy SLA requirements around Fulfillment and Assurance (Trouble Tickets).

Gathered requirements, designed, and built the current Performance Management System for Clarity; deployed in many incumbent Tier 1 and Tier 2 telecommunication companies.

Senior Software Engineer

Victa is the Head of Product Development at BTX, focused on delivering high impact Blockchain innovation to every facet of the traditional equine industry; from social horse ownership between mates, breeding and lifecycle management of horses for trainers and owners, through to enhanced digital experiences in the metaverse. Victa spent 18 years working in various technical roles in Australia and the APAC region, from software engineer up to CTO. Victa also led the Blockchain practice in EY Singapore supporting the EY APAC blockchain initiatives to design, build and implement blockchain technologies. Victa works closely with Steve and Scott to deliver BTX' digital roadmap for the equine industry.
