The BIG reason why your AI written content isn’t getting impressions, likes or comments

Hint: It's not about the algorithm, timing or post volume.

The biggest problem with AI content, isn’t the tool.

Why Free Advice Seekers Keep Filling Your Inbox (and How Peter Booked 3 Calls in 4 Days Without Using LinkedIn)

It was December 2019. I’d never felt happier walking out of my last ever shift at my day job.

I remember feeling unstoppable. After five years of being chained to a desk, I’d finally done it.

I’d quit my minimum wage job. 

I Became self-employed and I was free.

Then three months later… I was on the phone begging my old boss to take me back.

And honestly? It was the best thing that ever happened to me.

Because in those 3 months of “freedom,” my business tanked.

I had zero clue how to:

❌ Generate leads consistently

❌ Onboard clients properly

❌ Or close sales at 40%+

I was just posting content and having random convos, hoping people would buy.

By March, I had 37p in my bank account and over £5,000 in debt.

So I swallowed my pride and called my old boss.

I felt like an utter failure.

But then I remembered: you only fail if you stop trying.

So I worked my arse off.

For 2 years I commuted into London. 

I took every shift I could get and worked 7 days a week.

Every spare evening, I was on sales calls. 

Every lunch break, I was coaching clients. I even hid in my boss’s office to take calls.

I was exhausted, but slowly…

I cleared my debt. I had my first £5K month. 

And eventually I quit (for good this time)

That was 5 years ago.

Today, I run a business I’m proud of. But I owe it all to failing.

Because failure teaches you the things comfort never will.

(My 7 Little-known hacks I used to turn my income around

1️⃣ Sell on Sundays, make Bank on Mondays

I started selling 7 days a week.

That one change boosted my revenue potential by 29% - and caught buyers at their most motivated (especially on weekends).

2️⃣ I Re-framed Referrals

Instead of asking “Do you know anyone?”, I asked “Who do you know?”

It forces the brain to scan for names instead of giving a binary “no”.

3️⃣ Kill Zombies Early

I stopped saving objections for the end of a call,

Now I tackle the big three (timing, money, decision-maker) before I mention the price, so they don’t come back to bite me later!

4️⃣ Act Like Smoke

I never argue with a prospect. Ever.

Instead, I use questions to sidestep attacks and maintain control of the conversation.

5️⃣ Childlike Curiosity Wins

Objection?

I tilt my head, raise an eyebrow and just say: “Huh?”

That tiny shift gets people to reveal what’s really going on, without me getting combative.

6️⃣ Sell the Vacation, Not the Flight

No one buys a “6-module course with 47 videos.”

They buy freedom, status, confidence, more money etc.

So I pitch the vacation not the flight.

 7️⃣ Replay the Hot Streaks

I record my best sales calls, then binge them like I do YouTube.

Success leaves clues, and I use those recordings to spot patterns, tweak scripts, and build momentum.

2️⃣ The 90% Gift Card

During holidays or business anniversaries, sell your existing customers gift cards for your services at a 90% discount,.

The Catch: They can only buy them as gifts for others.

The Result: You get paid to acquire a new lead, you capture the referral’s contact information immediately, and the customer looks like a hero for giving a high-value gift,.

3️⃣ The “Wanna Get This Free?” Close

Right after the sale, ask:

“Wanna know how to get this for free?”

Offer a cash or credit reward for each person they bring in.

People love offsetting their own costs, and this *alone* can drive 30% of your total revenue.

Referrals are like fruit trees.

You plant one… and it feeds you for years.

But you’ve gotta start planting.
