I volunteered to help produce content and manage their social media account to retain a connection with their customers during the COVID-19 Lockdown. It has taught me about what makes content engaging, the importance of brand consistency, and how to produce targeted commercial content that expresses their core values. 

During this position I took on numerous tasks, which included:

- Creating photographic and graphic content for the Facebook page.
- Designing a website using Wix.
- Added the business to online directories.
- Used Adobe InDesign to create a menu for the website.
- Responded to customer comments and messages via. Facebook.

I have  increased the page’s likes from 979 in March 2020 to 1,310 in September 2020, which is a 33.81% increase. This has been achieved by increasing the frequency of posts and creating content that drives engagement.

Hired by the university, my job was to cover the sports events happening both on and off-campus for the institution, ensuring the content was suitable for both social media and print usage. Photographing fast-paced sports enhanced my practical photography skills, including lens knowledge, as well as time-management and my brand awareness.

performances. During my time spent volunteering at this organisation, I was able to develop my content writing skills, created unique images, and also met tight deadlines that the publication set for me.

Within this position, I was regularly covering live music events around Manchester for Manchester Metropolitan University’s student-run lifestyle magazine. This position meant that I had to be organised, meet deadlines, and proactive search for photo opportunities for the magazine.

As a waitress, I developed excellent customer service skills and became the head waitress, giving me the various responsibilities, such as: 

- Being in charge of the 90+ capacity restaurant
- Training new members of staff
- Taking cash and card payments

This experience not only improved my leadership skills, but also taught me how to be organised to ensure that I could take on multiple responsibilities and complete all tasks to the highest standard. It was here that I developed a keen eye for detail and my communication skills improved greatly during my time at The Fox Inn.

Head of videography in charge of producing video content for Middlesbrough colleges  key marketing outlets ranging from social media adverts, Mainstream adverts, course adverts,  and many internal projects. I am a single crew video producer so I cover all pre production, production and post production aspects of the projects. I also cover script production for some projects. Within this role I also cover photography in all shapes and forms wether that be in correspondence with our PR company or for our advert campaigns. I work with a great team and get to talk to a great range of different clients to plan new projects.

I was the Videographer and Photographer working on a range of corporate pieces. I also edited the videos and photos produced as well as taking on occasional graphic design work. 

As part of this role, I networked with a range of companies at a corporate event, advertising the companies services, which led to increased uptake of work. 

I was able to produce content for large clients that I had not been able to do before due to my reach. Such clients include an airport, a renewable energy firm, hotels and wedding venues. 

I also got to utilise my drone operation skills, taking videos of green spaces, exterior building shots and flyovers of events. 

In this role, I learnt how to network and communicate with clients and got to apply my skills on much more demanding projects.
