It was one of those weekends every hotel leader remembers-

All outlets packed, the ballroom hosting a high-profile reception, and the kind of pace that makes the hours blur.

By Sunday night, everything had run flawlessly. 

Sure, we had hiccups, but guests were happy, service never broke stride, and the team pulled together beautifully. 

The old me would have assumed everyone saw the impact because results alone don’t speak for themselves. 

But I took no chances and spent additional time crafting an email that showcased the team's successes. That short email, which probably took an hour to write, recapped the weekend’s numbers, the challenges overcome, and the wins worth celebrating, and made sure senior leadership knew. 

Not to boast, but to make the invisible visible.

That lesson never left me. Visibility is leadership.
 
If you don’t tell the story, someone else will, and they might not tell it right.

It’s the same principle I bring to my work today: helping leaders articulate their impact clearly, so their results and their character don’t go unnoticed.

Mine came in a moment that didn’t look important at all, a small project that forced me to rethink my leadership approach.
 
It wasn’t glamorous, but it exposed a gap I hadn’t noticed: I was leading for efficiency, not clarity.

That project changed how I approached group work, from how I communicated with teams to how I helped clients tell their own career stories.

Turning points rarely announce themselves, and they show up when you least expect them to. Disguised as another day’s work, and looking back, you realize those moments honed your style.

📍 What moment in your career seemed small at the time but ended up changing your direction?

Every success story has a moment where it almost fell apart.
The missed deadline.

Growth doesn’t always come from new ideas.

Sometimes it comes from small course corrections.

📍 What’s one thing you’re doing differently next week?

Working with clients, the best resume line isn’t always about the biggest metric.
It’s the one that reveals leadership character.

One client wrote:
“Led 12 direct reports.”

We changed it to:
“Built a team trusted to run operations in my absence.”

Same role. Different weight.

The second line shows ownership, trust, and leadership maturity, the qualities hiring managers value.

When you learn to write results through the lens of impact, not inventory, your resume stops blending in.

📍 What’s one quiet accomplishment that deserves more credit in your story?

Years ago, I worked under a GM who refused to lower standards, even on nights when everything went wrong.

The lobby was packed, the phones wouldn’t stop ringing, and the bar was short-staffed.

He did more than protect the service that night. He protected the trust our guests and staff came to expect.

Now, when I help leaders shape their resumes, I think about that lesson.
 
You’re not just listing what you did.
 
You’re defending what mattered and demonstrating you stood firm when it counted.

📍 Who taught you to protect the standard when it would’ve been easier to let it slide?

The moments I’m most thankful for weren’t the easiest ones.
 
They were the ones that shaped clarity:

The rejection that made me sharpen my story.
The client who pushed for a better version.
The leader who told me the truth, not what I wanted to hear.

Gratitude is more than reflection because every setback I’ve had became a blueprint for helping others position their worth.

📍 What moment challenged you most and later proved to be a gift?

Early this year, I almost said no to a client because the project seemed small.
It turned into one of my most fulfilling partnerships,  and a reminder that impact isn’t always visible upfront.

That “small” project ended with a client landing their dream role.
 
What I thought was routine became a story I still reference when coaching others.

Woher diese fortwährende Unruhe?

Unserer inneren Welt fehlt etwas, das wir durch etwas in der äußeren Welt zu kompensieren versuchen.

Manchmal ist die größte Herausforderung nicht die Suche nach dem perfekten Büro (Spoiler: in Kopenhagen werde ich es aktuell nicht finden), sondern das Vertrauen in die eigene innere Stimme.

Alles klar definiert – und trotzdem: Ich finde keine Lösung. Bald werde ich 40, habe diverse Firmen gegründet, Entscheidungen sollten mir leichtfallen. Aber hier? Fehlanzeige. Jedes Objekt fühlt sich „irgendwie nicht richtig“ an.

👉 Ist das Intuition – oder schlicht Angst vor der falschen Wahl?

Spannend:

🔹Angst ist selten ein Zeichen, dass wir falsch liegen.
🔹Vielmehr deutet sie darauf hin, dass wir uns auf etwas zubewegen, das uns wichtig ist – während alte Überzeugungen bremsen.
🔹Gleichgültigkeit hingegen? Das ist der wahre Warnhinweis. Wenn es dir egal ist, bist du auf dem falschen Weg.

Intuition ist kein esoterisches Konzept, sondern neurobiologisch verankert:

🔹Sie bündelt Erfahrungen, Werte und Bedürfnisse in Millisekunden.
🔹Gerade bei Entscheidungen, die unser Wohlbefinden prägen – wie der Ort, an dem wir täglich arbeiten – ist sie Gold wert.
🔹Studien zeigen: Wer Intuition und Ratio kombiniert, trifft nachhaltigere Entscheidungen.

Mein Learning (wenn auch noch ohne Büro ):

Die perfekte Excel-Liste ersetzt nicht das Gefühl, das entsteht, wenn Du einen Raum betrittst.
Ein Gedanke, den ich größtenteils Hannah Samira Schmidt verdanke – ihre Fähigkeit, komplexe Zusammenhänge zwischen Körper 🏋️‍♂️, Geist 🧠, und Nervensystem 🧬 verständlich und fühlbar zu machen, inspiriert mich immer wieder. 

Vielleicht ist die Frage nicht:
🔹 „Welches Büro erfüllt alle Kriterien?“
Sondern:
🔹 „Wo spüre ich Energie, die mich künftig wachsen lässt?“

Es gibt Tage, da frage ich mich: Bin ich für dieses Chaos gemacht?
Ich bin ruhig – aber Geduld gehört nicht zu meinen Stärken. 
Mein inneres Äffchen 🐒 dreht durch, wenn ich sehe, dass eine Mail länger dauert als die Umsetzung.

Und trotzdem: Ich stehe jeden Morgen auf und renne weiter.

Denn Gründen ist kein Sprint. Es ist ein Marathon, bei dem Dir alle 5 Kilometer jemand die Schuhe klaut und in den Bach wirft.
Und genau darin liegt die Magie: Du wächst nicht nur als Unternehmer, sondern als Mensch. Du lernst wie Du mit stets neuen Situationen umgehst.

P.S. Den Marathon bin ich tatsächlich aus einer Wette heraus ein einziges Mal gelaufen und dann auch so, damit ich ihn nicht nochmal laufen musste.

Das ist kein Randphänomen. Es betrifft uns alle. 
Und es beginnt nicht erst im Erwachsenenalter.

Unser Sohn ist im August in die Grundschule gestartet. Neue Umgebung, neue Gesichter, neue Regeln. Anfangs war er euphorisch. Doch nach wenigen Wochen kam die Ernüchterung:

Sein vertrauter Freundeskreis war weg. Fußball auf dem Pausenhof? Kein Ballkontakt. Tischtennis? Kein Spielfluss. Abends wollte er nicht mehr raus, nicht mal mit seinem Bruder.

Er fühlte sich einsam. Und ich sah wie sein Selbstwertgefühl bröckelte. Er ist ein aufgeweckter Junge, proaktiv in der Kommunikation und nicht ängstlich. Trotzdem waren die letzten 3 Monaten sehr hart für ihn. Sein gewohnter Freundeskreis von 7 Jungs gab es nun nicht mehr. An vielen Tagen in der Woche hat er geweint.  

Sein Bedürfnis nach Zugehörigkeit zu einer Gruppe, nach spielerischen Austausch, Kontakt und echten Freundschaften war groß. 

Dann kam die Wendung; 5 Mädchen finden ihn richtig toll. In der Gruppe jagen sie ihn nun über den Pausenhof, wollen seine Aufmerksamkeit, mit ihm spielen, ihn necken und ja, zwei sogar küssen. Mit 7 Jahren mag er Mädchen eigentlich noch nicht. Bis letzte Woche waren alle Mädchen doof. Heute mag er seine Gang. Kennt ihre Namen, Haarfarbe, Augenfarbe und die Art und Weise wie sie lachen. Er fühlt sich gesehen, gehört und wertgeschätzt. 

Und genau das brauchen wir alle – Zugehörigkeit. Sie beginnt nicht erst im Erwachsenenalter. Sie beginnt in frühster Kindheit. Ohne sie vereinsamen wir, werden krank, leben kürzer.

🦈 The German pharmacy landscape is a shark tank.

3,500 manufacturers worldwide register more than 50,000 new products every year. 

The moment you enter the German pharmacy market your product and brand will be competing for visibility with more than 400,000 products that already sell.

In Germany, if you want your product to be sold in pharmacies, through wholesalers, or on platforms like DocMorris, you need one thing: an IFA listing.
Why? Because only then you get a PZN – the 9-digit code that makes your product visible in every pharmacy system.

Without a PZN, your product cannot be ordered, invoiced, or reimbursed. In short: it doesn’t exist in the pharmacy market.

For OTC products, IFA listing is mandatory. For cosmetics, it’s optional – but essential if you want presence in pharmacies or online platforms.

Sounds simple? It’s not. Many strong brands underestimate the details:
 ✅ GTIN/EAN codes
 ✅ German-language labels
 ✅ Local representation
 ✅ Product descriptions & price details

Miss one, and your launch stalls. I’ve seen brands ready to conquer the market – but invisible because they didn’t fill out their IFA listing correctly.
