I'm frustrated at how there is a huge amount of mental health awareness but not enough is being done to give people solutions to manage their own mental wellbeing – I’m an action taker! I want to help, but traditional forms of counselling and therapy do not appeal to me. Once I found Solution Focused work, I knew that this is what I wanted to do. 

The people I work with are also on my wavelength. They are serious professionals who want to look forward to a positive future and they are committed to their own personal development to create change quickly and effectively. 

I eliminate feelings of anxiety, stress and depression and the impact this has
on our behaviour and physical health. I do this using a combination of
techniques and strategies which allow my clients to manage their thoughts
and feelings.

After achieving lots of ambitions the thought comes to you ; "what next?"  

So I went on an adventure! 

I gave up everything,  either sold ( thank you eBay!) or donated all my possessions, car, house and contents,  and went to live in Mauritius.   

Drastic but the best life-affirming experience ever - totally recommend it.  Too much to explain on here so please ask me more when you meet me!

I absolutely loved being an Optometrist but I continually found it difficult to see people damage their eyes due to an unhealthy lifestyle.  I have always found it fascinating how some people manage to cope with difficult circumstances and other's find it more challenging?  But I needed to know the science behind how the brain works! 

I wanted to learn more about helping people to use their mind to create change - hence further study and retirement from Optometry....
