As a Chief Revenue Officer, I operated 25+ B2B AI, SaaS and traditional companies in more than 20 industries. I've felt firsthand how building modern, leading revenue systems became a very complex given. A bit like building a house. Everything became so complex. Every domain became a universe on its own, with all its subdomains and now even more so with AI and signal-based & asynchronous selling. 

You don't have everything in-house. You just do what you can with what you have. As part of my graduation thesis, I conducted a market study for Closing the Loop. I investigated how electronic waste compensation could appeal more effectively to the European hotel industry.

In this elected position within Hotelschool, I supported the Council Chairwoman by leading certain committee meetings and ensuring the general smooth running of the body.

As a member of the council Daily Board, I met regularly with key organisational representatives such as the Board of Directors, Board of Trustees, various university committees and Student Associations.

Vice-Chairman (Co-Determination Council)

I worked as a sidekick to the university Alumni Engagement Officer, assisting in the launch and development of Hotelschool's new Alumni Network platform (4000+ registered users).

My responsibilities included:
•	Co-creating the platform's engagement strategy and content schedule for 2021-2022 
•	Recruiting alumni to serve as Ambassadors for the platform
•	Developing Hotelschool's relationships with its alumni chapters globally
•	Interviewing alumni for the UNFILTERED. article and Alumni Advice video series
•	Designing promotional content visuals
•	Administrative tasks relating to the general smooth running of the Alumni Relations office (Mailbox handling, user issue troubleshooting)

Marketing Assistant (Alumni Office)

All higher education institutes in the Netherlands have a Co-Determination Council, which discusses matters that impact students and staff.

I was one of six elected student members who meet with employee representatives to share advice and give consent on policies initiated by the Hotelschool The Hague Board of Directors.

Major topics discussed include:
•	Hotelschool's annual budget and long-term strategy
•	Matters related to student wellbeing and support 
•	Hotelschool's Research Centre strategy
•	Annual review of the ‘Education and Exam Regulations’ document (EER), which explains course regulations for the Bachelor, Master and MBA programs
•	Curriculum innovation
•	Organisational optimisation
