Main responsibilities include handling relations with the public and to maintain and build good relations with key media professionals including journalists. 

Other tasks include but are not limited to:

- Drafting press releases

- Advising staff on how to handle the media 

- Monitoring and evaluating our media appearances

- Organising press press conferences and other promotional activity

There are only two components to succeeding as an political and/or membership organisation:

1. Lowering barriers for taking the desired action (with you)
2. Increasing motivation for said action until it surpasses (1)

A lot of organisations struggle in the first category. They might feel their cause speak’s for itself. Or they often ask too much, too early of their target audiences. 

They might be excellent at building motivation, but they still fail to achieve the desired outcome; be it increasing fundraising revenue, keeping existing or attracting new members/supporters, winning an issue, etc.

As a result they spend even more time and money on building motivation; through campaigning, mobilisation, rapid response, etc but they still fail again and again.

In addition they start questioning their practices; Is our paid media not up to snuff? Is our e-mail marketing the problem? Should we get a new telemarketing agency? They might even look at replacing staff members.

Ansvarlig for indhold og tilrettelæggelse, kontakt til freelancere, redigering, sparring med grafiker, samarbejde med leverandører og budget. Indgår i det daglige i en alsidig kommunikationsafdeling, hvor jeg også har stået for produktion og udvikling af nyhedsbreve, opsætning af ny hjemmeside, produktion af artikler, webindhold og annoncer m.m.

Ejerslev Dreaming

Medstifter af festivalen Ejerslev Dreaming på Mors - en festival for musik, litteratur og natur med fokus på fællesskab og nærvær. Afholdt i sommeren 2019 og 2021 med støtte af bl.a. Statens Kunstfond og Nordeafonden.
