Most 30-year-old software companies just want a "facelift."

roommaster wanted to create a futuristic brand.

When Visharathan Kugamoorthy (Marketing Director) partnered with ThunderClap, the goal was clear.

Stop hiding the product and make RoomMaster the hero.

See, RoomMaster runs operations for over 5,500 hotels worldwide.

But their visual identity demanded a revamp.

So instead of jumping into UI, we paused on the #1 question:

What should a hotel manager feel 3 days after visiting the site?
Not: “PMS” “Channel manager” “Booking engine”

We needed something more foundational.

Like how RoomMaster is NOT a guest experience.

It’s the structure beneath it.

That insight led us to a clear creative direction:
Hospitality Architects.

Once that landed, everything else automatically fell into place👇
→ The Concept:
We treated the software like a blueprint.

The visuals rely on floor plan motifs and grid systems to show structure.

→ The Logo:
We combined the letters ‘R’ and ‘M’ to form a doorway shape.

It symbolizes an open door, the universal sign of welcome.

→ The Palette:
We kept the trust of their legacy Blue but refreshed it to a Royal Blue,
pairing it with warm Beiges to feel human and modern at the same time.

Most importantly, the site stopped trying to explain everything.

Instead, it started reassuring hotel teams that complications are well-handled.
And the result?

An 80% lift in demo requests and organic traffic.
