From that experience, the ministry of utilizing time to the fullest and "to live every day as if it is your last" became my focus in life. As an advocate for children and youth empowerment, this season of Coronavirus presented a new opportunity to empower the children of the world. With the help of co-author and other Ambassadors of Good Will, Ilario Tariello, Anna Franklin, and Serena Tariello, we wrote, illustrated, and released 3 free e-books to help children defeat this virus. We organized a team of 30+ volunteer translators to increase it's impact worldwide and plan to produce readings on video in every language as well. COVID OPS has become a rallying point for children's empowerment, unity of the nations, and goodwill for all.

I love the ability to share stories that change lives and use stories as a motivational platform for teaching success and time skills. I have spoken on time and success in businesses, college-prep workshops, homeschooling parent workshops, children workshops, and teen workshops. Most of my twenty published books are focused on children and youth. Through my writing and workshops, they are encouraged to find their own greatness, learn to prioritize and manage time well, learn success principles, and use their gifts and talents at an early age. 
 
I wrote four time priority self-help books for children, pre-teens, and high schoolers that is often used for homeschool curriculum. (Time 4 Kids and Teens and Time 4 High School and Christian Editions of each).  

I wanted to offer something fun and engaging for the 5-7 age to learn about time so I developed a little character series called "The Time Doctor." These picture book stories bring time to life for them.

College is an new frontier for students with new time and success demands. My latest book, Time 2 Thrive/Taming the Time Monster College Edition helps college students take control of life and run their college careers successfully. With so many parents facing remote study students with COVID, I am revising these for fall release to help teens manage their remote studies from home with ease.

As a youth pastor, the scarcity of good Christian adventure books spurred two series for children and teens. Finally, I created a Coloring Book Bible Devotional with 100 stories not usually found in children's format that I distribute free to missionaries. 

Writing and Speaking are my passions in life and sharing positive messages that impact lives brings great fulfillment.

My most challenging career was when I left the corporate world to become a full-time homeschool teacher. Success in this job was defined by finding innovative ways to teach four to six classes per day and provide the best education possible for my daughter from kindergarten through high school pre-calculus and physics. The years of self-management as an entrepreneur and time management specialist helped tremendously and became lessons within themselves. I instilled life skills lessons along with the technical knowledge so that she could thrive in life. I began to share time management and life skill workshops both to homeschool students and their parents. Liz (MamaLiz) Franklin is an author of over 30 books and a public speaker from Knoxville, Tennessee. She left her careers as a business manager and financial planner to dedicate her life to empowering children, teens, and young people to find their greatness and prioritize time through books, workshops, homeschool curriculum, and speaking events. Liz spearheaded an initiative to empower children in the battle against COVID-19 and is currently empowering them to understand war. Story
At a very young age, Dr. Subrina Jesmin (Arai) set her goal to help people within her community and beyond. The biggest inspiration on that journey was her father. Dr. Subrina strongly believes in her father’s ideals and beliefs as he, too, was well known in their community for helping people by any means. He constantly motivated her to get the highest form of education possible in the country of Bangladesh.
During those days, it was challenging for women to receive higher education in Bangladesh. With her father’s encouragement, Dr. Subrina marched forward and broke barriers for women wanting to receive higher education and become self-dependent. When she finished her graduation in Bangladesh, she immediately opted for a job to support her family. 
In her efforts to support the family, she moved abroad to Japan, where she has been residing for close to 2 decades. The challenges of settling and establishing multiply when a person wants to do it abroad. Dr. Subrina knew it all too well and was duly prepared to tough it out no matter what. Despite the troubled times, her perseverance paid dividends.
Dr. Subrina chose the healthcare sector to honor her father and help as many people as possible. On that note, she has screened over one million women in her hometown and village for gestational diabetes. She launched a program to raise rural women's awareness about their health. During a survey, she discovered that many rural women had never undergone a health checkup. She knew that no one would come forward if she did not help them.
So, she helped the women with her own money by providing free health checkups. The efforts she made as a humanitarian have been duly recognized and awarded many times over the years.

When You’re Tired Working Remotely on a Friday

Some Fridays feel heavier—especially from home. Fatigue isn’t failure; it’s feedback. Here’s a quick, science-smart reset you can do in minutes:
1) Micro-reset (3–5 minutes)
Stand up: shoulder rolls ×10, gentle neck turns ×5/side.
20-20-20 rule: every 20 minutes, look 20 feet away for 20 seconds.
Box breathing: inhale 4, hold 4, exhale 6—repeat 4 rounds.
Drink a glass of water; fatigue often hides dehydration.
2) Focus in sprints
Work 25–30 minutes, break 5 minutes. Two sprints = one “mini-win.”
Close one loop: finish a small task you’ve been avoiding to lift mental load.
3) Light + posture
Face natural light if possible; avoid slouching (hips back, ribs down, chin neutral).
If you can, take a 7–10 minute walk—movement boosts energy more reliably than another coffee.
