Spring Fair 2026 Avasam Enterprise Marketplace

In 2025, most ecommerce categories were losing traffic. Marketplaces are the only model still growing.

Fashion, home, electronics, groceries all down year on year. Meanwhile, marketplaces continue to absorb consumer demand at scale. This is not a temporary cycle. It is a structural shift in how discovery and purchasing now work.

The implication for retailers is uncomfortable but unavoidable. Relying solely on brand.com for growth is no longer enough.

That is why more established brands are moving from selling on marketplaces to building their own.
