Mining is a trillion-dollar industry and is one of the major employers around the world. 

No matter where you may be, mining has a hand in your daily life.

Despite being a centuries old industry (and even before that), mining industry is technologically very archaic. Most of the processes are still looking back in time and are extremely manual. 

From procurement to production to delivery – each of these steps takes months.

In the mining industry, profit margins are razor-thin which has led to intense competition among mining companies.

How do you turn 100,000 households living in large concrete buildings into friends and a community?

A concrete jungle is a term that generally refers to urban environments, usually with large skyscrapers and towering buildings. 

When people refer to concrete jungles, the surrounding environment is often crowded, soulless, and loud due to the many people and cars.

MY STORY
I grew up in a small town. A friendly child, my home was troubled. I withdrew into my shell, becoming aloof and angry. At age 15, I started working in a factory. I worked 12 hours/day with only $2 as a daily salary.

In 1995, a new computer institute (Aptech) threw its doors open in my town. Tuition was greater than a year’s salary, but I scraped together funds for the first class where I found my passion: Computers and Programming. I met my wife there, and we fell madly in love. Our marriage was disapproved of by my family… 

Ultimately, I had to run away from home with only a suitcase full of clothes. After our marriage, we traveled to Canada and started a new life.

While in Canada, I had to overcome enormous challenges. Today, I am excelling and inspiring others to pursue their dreams.

Going from $2/day to the boardrooms of Fortune 500 reinforced my belief that anything is possible.
