Marco Lopez is a business leader, former government official, and public servant who is passionate about helping others succeed. He is the CEO of Intermestic Partners, a business advisory firm that provides strategic business development and policy direction to both international and domestic organizations.

Marco has a proven track record of success in both the public and private sectors. He served as Mayor of Nogales, Arizona, at the age of 22, and was re-elected by an overwhelming majority. He also served as Chief of Staff at the United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Customs and Border Protection (CBP), where he helped lead an organization with a $13+ billion budget and 60,000 employees.

In business, Marco founded Intermestic Partners in 2011. He has also served as a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and as Senior Advisor to the Chairman of Grupo Carso and The Carlos Slim Foundation. He has also advised presidential campaigns on topics of border security and safety, border trade and commerce, and economic development.

Marco is a passionate advocate for Arizona and its people. He believes that every Arizonan has the potential to succeed and that Arizona is a special place where anything is possible if you work hard and have a vision.
