My second financial services position. I started as a mortgage adviser, advising clients on mortgage, protection, and insurance, and progressed to recruiting and managing a team of 30 branch-based mortgage advisers. I created a mortgage administration centre, centralising administration. I made the first company CRM to control the activity of the existing client base. I started the first team of financial planning consultants to work alongside the mortgage adviser team and work with existing clients on their financial planning requirements - savings, investment, pension, and protection.
