I took the opportunity to shadow the Creative Ecommerce Manager at Monsoon/Accessorize head office in London. Ecommerce, a very fast paced and ever growing area of the industry made for a very exciting working environment. The role, aside from shadowing, included constantly monitoring social network activity and updating pages with the latest campaigns, the organisation and distribution of samples for external media and monitoring email newsletters as well as any other ad hoc tasks. In the short time I spent in this role I also managed to write a blog post for the official Accessorize blog.

London Fashion Week - Fashion Scout

I volunteered at the AW13 LFW for Fashion Scout, whereby the best up and coming designers can show off their talent. Tasks ranged from setting up the catwalk theaters to seating VIP guests front of house and everything in between. Professionalism was key at all times, as was flexibility. Teamwork and Interaction were also essential in order for each show to run efficiently. The ability to show initiative was more than welcomed. It was an incredible insight into the luxury fashion market and fantastic to be part of and see the work that goes into creating such an event.
