Marketing Communications Executive

Project Marketing Business Analyst on the largest internal IT business transformation project ever undertaken by Canon, as well as the largest Oracle 11i implementation in the southern hemisphere.  Our task was to replace Canon’s existing IT legacy systems with new Oracle 11i applications across the entire business.   

Project managed the design, build, implementation, testing and training of new Oracle system with regard to the marketing function of the Canon business.  My particular focus was on the Concept to Market, Market to Prospect, Prospect to Order and Order to Cash applications that drove pricing structures, inventory, product configurations, order management, procurement functions and sales ordering systems.  

Involved business analysis of baseline operational system requirements, system design, technical specification development, multi project stream collaboration, stakeholder management, change control, procedure manual development, user acceptance testing and training, and business risk mitigation.

Responsible for co-ordination of all elements of the marketing mix with regard to Canon's range of Colour Imaging solutions - photocopiers, wide format printers, card printers, and graphics arts printing devices.
