This portfolio was worth 12 billion dollars consisting of Energy East, Coastal Gas link, Northern Courier, Grand Rapids, Heartland & TC Terminals Pipeline Project. My role as Manager Project Excellence and Quality Management supported the overall business performance for this multi-billion dollar portfolio.

Key Accomplishments:
•	Recognized for the robust strategy and economic evaluation on the PD&AOP portfolio aimed at continuous improvements while ensuring consistency and transparency in the critical areas of safety, quality, schedule and risk management.
•	Received multiple recognitions from the Vice President PD&AOP for my leadership and the successful outcome of the PE&QM framework. This framework was replicated across other major projects within TransCanada.
•	Recognized for leading the implementation of a new onboarding program across the PD&AOP portfolio.

Manager, Project Excellence & Quality Management(PE&QM) (Portfolio Management)

This project was focused on implementing an effective  Capital Project  Management  System  (CPMS) based on the  ISO 9000:2008 for multiple lines of business, including IT, finance, operations and engineering departments. This project also provided a governance framework for capital projects and incorporated a robust project stage gate process TransCanada wide.

Key Accomplishments:
•	Implemented a cross-organizational framework focused on improving the Project Management practices for the O&GDP group, based on its successful implementation, my role became portfolio-wide.
•	Successful led the effort aimed at implementing clear lines of communication across the CPMS corporate group, thereby increasing overall productivity.
•	Integrated the Master Service Agreement with the management systems requirements for all contracts to ensure third party contractors were compliant.
•	Created an intuitive, user-friendly tool (Quick Start Guides), enabling the project team to quickly assess all relevant processes and templates required throughout the life cycle of projects from the Management System. The tool was rolled out TransCanada-wide.

Reported to the Director Enterprise Solution, managed the IT PMO for the largest investor-owned distribution utility in Canada, which serves more than 2,000,000 gas and electricity customers. Its regulated holdings include electric utilities in five Canadian provinces and two Caribbean countries and a natural gas utility in British Columbia. 

My role involved the management of technical subject experts, project and program management resources; establishing objectives, providing direction and supporting employee development. Oversee the development of the end-to-end project management functions to ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the agreed quality standards. Responsible for project audits and quality checks throughout the lifecycle to ensure all projects are on track to deliver business value and benefits. Working closely with the senior management team (VPs, directors and IT managers) in developing a center of excellence in portfolio, program and project management, these successes are now replicated within the operations PMO. Training of new and existing project teams aimed at maturing the project management competency within the whole organization.
