I am proud to be the Head of HISP Teaching School Hub, where I lead a team focused on supporting the development of teachers and school leaders working across the educational sector. I have been working in education for over fourteen years, primarily as a Geography teacher in the secondary and post-16 phase but I have also taught within the primary sector. Throughout my career, I have held various roles, including Sixth Form Coordinator for Geography, pastoral tutor, and Lead Practitioner.

I have always had a strong passion for working with trainee and early career teachers, mentoring PGCE students, ECTs, and facilitating training for School Direct and SCITT trainees. I have had the opportunity to present at numerous teaching and learning conferences and deliver evidence-informed CPD across different schools.

In addition to my school-based work, I am also a governor across two primary schools within Southampton.

I am deeply committed to the belief that collaborative working, evidence-based teaching, and sharing best practice are key to sustainable school improvement. My goal is to help colleagues engage in rigorous educational enquiry and research, driving "next practice" to enhance teaching and learning across the HISP Teaching School Hub regions.
