The Gift of Oil (www.thegiftofoil.co.uk) is an online retailer of premium olive oils and balsamic vinegar. In my role as Digital Marketing Manager I was solely responsible for planning, scheduling and creating all online content to meet monthly and yearly revenue targets. 

Notable achievements include:

Social Media
Developed and implemented a social media strategy. Without any social media budget, the Twitter following has grown from 400 to 3,400+. Our Facebook page likes have tripled. Traffic to the website from social media has increased by 296.84%. 

CRO
Increased conversion rate by 13.29% in the last year through extensive optimisation of the website copy and customer journey analysis. 

Email Marketing
Responsible for planning, writing and scheduling all email campaigns using Mailchimp. Revenue from email marketing campaigns have increased by 345% in the past year. 

Website Management
Independently manage and administrate the Magento website, including all customer service and customer experience issues. Gained a Trustpilot score of 9.8/10 for our online ordering service.

SEO
Created and continually optimised all online content to target specific keywords for SEO. Now ranking on the first page in Google for the majority of the keywords I have targeted.

Plastic Sheets is an on-line marketplace for thermoplastic sheeting (ABS, HIPS, Polypropylene and many more). Our business model is three-fold; 

1) Companies with an excess of plastic sheeting can sell their material online to our wide range of customers. We provide a more profitable and environmentally friendly option to granulation. 
2) Customers buy from a wider variety of colours, sizes and finishes than those which are available from traditional stockists. They are able to access materials in small quantities which are otherwise only available to purchase by the tonne. 
3) Plastic Sheets is the sole European stockist and supplier of Soliant PaintFilm laminates- the highest quality thermoformable decorative plastic sheets available on the market. We have some stock sheets, but can quote for and import any of their extensive range of laminated sheets. 

In my role as the Sales & Marketing Manager, my duties include: 

Sales: Day to day running of the business including quoting, invoicing (using Sage 50 Accounts), stock management (using Match-IT), online orders, dispatch, customer enquiries, imports & exports and customer retention. 
Marketing: promoting the website and building relationships with potential customers and sellers using social media, SEO, direct marketing, email marketing, tele-sales and organising and attending exhibitions.
