I have recently been promoted from Journalist to Head Writer, and then again to Managing Editor, and I am now part of the editorial team. The position involves attending and organising events, writing articles, editing articles, managing the team of writers, website design, conducting interviews and reviewing events. 
Whilst we work with many local artists in the York area, I have also worked with several more well known ones, including Blink 182, Augustines, Billy Talent,The Stranglers, Johnny Rotten and Pil, Dave Mcpherson and Inme, The Damned, The Ordinary Boys and Alien Ant Farm.
I have also attended several large events in a press position, such as Leeds Festival and Download Festival.

I am currently a Content Writer at Embryo, however I have skills in the writing, editing and proofreading areas from my work as a freelance writer and my time at York Calling as Managing Editor. I also have experience in sales, admin & customer service from my role at Vaillant.
