The inaugural UK Tech Week will be hosted across the country on 23rd to 25th April, with existing tech weeks and regional festivals taking part, both to put on events during the week and also to signpost their own events during the year. An open platform format means that any existing events and organisations can take part in the week, benefiting from collaboration across the UK.

Founded by Stuart Clarke MBE, the Festival Director of the Leeds Digital Festival, it has the support of a number of events such as Birmingham Tech Week and organisations including techUK and Global Tech Advocates.
