It’s been 3 years on this app and if I start to tell you what my eyes have seen🥹

I’ve had seasons when I showed up every day with confidence.

And seasons when I felt lost and like an imposter.

There were days I posted and nothing happened.
No likes. No comments. Just silence.

And yet, something in me refused to stop.

I kept learning.
I kept showing up even when I didn’t feel “ready.”

And along this journey, I’ve seen a few creators who didn’t disappear.

I didn’t touch grass this weekend but I got so much more.🤭

Last week, all of over my feed were posts promoting Blossom Affia Bootcamp.

And in my head I’m like “wetin dem pay una biko”

I felt like “what else will she teach wey I never hear for other bootcamps?”

So I just ignored all the promotional posts being shoved down my throat.

But on Thursday morning, a day before the start of the bootcamp, I came across Blossom’s post promoting it.

Her content that day was enough to convince me.

And I made payment that morning, very anxious to see if I’ll learn anything new or same old “engaging 20 hours before and after posting”😂

Oh well guys, I’m happy I joined in cos I actually learnt new things mehn. All the speakers delivered so well.

It was then I realized that some of the stuff I knew 3 years ago have changed.

Here’s my advice to my fellow Echelonites, you’ve eaten so much value for 3 days, it’s best to implement very fast.

I’m also grateful for the amazing people I met in the bootcamp.

PS: Who knew I’ll find my own sunshine🥹

They’ve called me different names since I started talking about LinkedIn profiles and why clarity is super important.

Names like:

“LinkedIn Profile Doctor.”
“LinkedIn Profile Sanitizer.”
Someone even said I “drag people into clarity”😂

All jokes aside, I get it.

I’ve been that person with a nice profile picture and a confusing headline.

That person who looked active but was still invisible.

That person who had the skills but wasn’t getting seen.

That’s why I talk about clarity so much.

Because when your profile is clear, it’s easier for the right people to find you, trust you, and message you.

So yeah, maybe I’m the LinkedIn Profile Doctor 😂

But it’s only because I know what it feels like to be unseen.

And I don't want you stuck there.

Stop saying you're "passionate."
Everyone says that and it means nothing.

Potential clients don't care if you're passionate.

They care if you can solve their problem.

Your profile should answer ONE question:
"Can this person help me?"

Not: "Is this person passionate?"

Just: "Can they help me?"

If your profile doesn't scream YES to that question, it's not working and you need to fix that ASAP.

What followed next shocked me.

You guys, my dad sent me this message attached in the first picture🥹

You should read it as well.

It’s not common to see parents supporting our online endeavors.

Some parents till today still think anything online is fr@ud.

But my parents, they’ve been supportive from day one.

Like whenever we do morning devotion at home, my mum prays this exact prayer “God give Victor foreign clients this week”.

Or is it how they allow me have my meetings with clients without sending me on errands in between?🥹

Now you see what keeps me going.

I need to make so much money in 2026 so I can spoil my parents cos they’re too much😭

I'm going to be honest with you.
Because that's what people who care do.

You're sabotaging yourself.
Not on purpose, but you are.

Every day you post content with a broken profile, you're sending people to a dead end.

Every time you engage and grow your network, you're wasting it because your profile does not convert.

Want to know the saddest thing I noticed?

They all had the same featured section.

Their most liked post.
Their viral post.

And I get it.
You're proud of that post. You should be.

But people don't care about your vanity metrics.
They care about results.

Your Featured section should show:
• Client results you've driven
• Case studies
• Links to any free or paid offers you have.

Not just posts that got likes.

I'm tired of watching talented creators lose deals because their featured section screams:

"I care about going viral"
Instead of:
"I care about getting you results"

One gets you followers.
The other gets you paid.

Which one do you want?

I finally understand that now.

For the longest time, outsourcing scared me.

It's not magic.
It's the foundation.

You still need to:

• Post good content
• Show up consistently
• Actually be good at what you do
• Build relationships

Your profile just makes sure when people check you out...

They don't leave confused.
They see clarity.
They see professionalism.
They see someone worth working with.

Think of it like this:

Bad profile = Leaking bucket
Good content = Water you're pouring in

You can pour all the water you want.

But if the bucket is leaking, nothing stays.

Fix the bucket first.
Then your efforts actually count.
