Had a dream, found a mission.  Wanted to give my kids more than I had growing up and at the same time to help B2B Businesses to find consistent sustainable growth.  It all began in 2016 

Started out not knowing what the hell I was doing and then after making a lot of mistakes we grew the business and made it into Florida

Over the holidays we decided to break up...

I haven't felt in the right mind space to post about it

And this is taking a lot of effort to write

We sat down and talked about our 2 kids

And the unpredictability of the US immigration system

And how a cross cultural marriage (Colombia / UK)

makes everything difficult

And that's why we decided to break up with the traditional model of aging

We refuse to disappear into retirement after spending 40 years in a cubicle

We refuse to let AI diminish our skills and capabilities and will use it to amplify our impact

and MOST of all we refuse to teach our kids what they SHOULD do in life

While SHOWING them something totally different through our actions

They learn by watching not through what we say

I'm a 1981 baby and i'm seeing a real change in the way people are viewing mid-life

This is at 2.1k views in less than 24 hours

The fly, the window and the paragraph that changed my life:

A fly is frantically trying to escape the room by flying into the window

 because it can see the tree's outside but doesn't have the vision to see the window pane

It doesn't know its there

And here's thing

ALL It needs to do is turn around and fly out the open door on the other side of the room

And it's free

That RIGHT there WAS a metaphor for my business and I got it form my fave book (in comments)

And last year and then I received a gift from the universe and only discovered my open door 

It was a 'cease and desist' from one of the big social media platforms

We had gotten so big, we were on the radar

I restructured the business starting last summer 

And the last 6 months have meant less work + way more profits 

Sometimes the open door in your life is staring you right in the face and you just can't see it 

I couldn't see it 

I'll be documenting it on my new substack

We already did 1m views on youtube  and I love it because its 10-15m and i can really teach and build community

and i'm feeling called to write deeper, about what we went through making $4m revenue while bringing up kids

Dear LinkedIn, having you disappear my Company Page because your system has flagged artificial engagement was not on my 2026 bingo card. 

You see, I came into the new year full of enthusiasm and decided today would be the day to finally update my Page with a new banner, tagline, and About section. 

Oh, and I would have updated my Featured section too, except I can't see my content now ☹️

The fact is, I haven't even used my Page to comment on anything, so I'm not sure how it got flagged.  

Don't get me wrong. I'm all for your systems trying to prevent that insane amount of fake stuff that goes on, especially with the automated AI comments. We all want that to stop.

If you could review my appeal sooner rather than later, I would greatly appreciate it.

What's the secret to LinkedIn marketing success in 2026? Just so I'm clear...

First, we weren’t posting enough.
Now we’re posting too much.

First, we had playbooks to go viral.
Now we’re told to go niche.

Video will save us all. 
Video disappeared. 

You know the kind…

The problem is, shiny tools won’t fix a weak LinkedIn marketing strategy.

If your positioning isn’t clear and your message doesn’t stand out, no amount of hacks, prompts or posting schedules will save you.

This is where I think a lot of B2B brands are getting distracted.

Instead of doing the harder work on:
• Who they’re for
• What they actually want to be known for
• How they’re different from everyone else

In 2026, LinkedIn results will come from getting the fundamentals right and letting your Company Page and your people work together to build rapport first and then trust over time.

Not from flip-flopping every time someone says they’ve “cracked the algorithm." Or should I say Brew360?

👉 Every “you must try this” post

This is the recipe for confused buyers and very little growth.

You don’t need every flavour to win. 

You need the right one for your business, done consistently and well.

👉 Buying committees.

Not new, they always existed.
When you actually sit in customer meetings, you see it first-hand.

Procurement, technical, finance, users, leadership… all influencing the deal in different ways.

👉 Buying cycles are getting longer.

I’ve worked in industries where deals routinely took 2–5 years from first conversation to signature.
Complex decisions take time. They always have.

I changed my mind on this one thing when it comes to LinkedIn Company Pages. 

You see, I'm always learning, experimenting, and joining conversations with experts, so how I work with my clients is always evolving.

LLMs will continue to give generic outdated advice. As they say, it's the average of the internet that you get in the responses.

Whether it's done for you with Company Page Management or training for Page Admins, I love being the competitive advantage.  

PS I may even change my mind on LinkedIn Pages Premium, too....
