In 2013, I helped launch EcoQube and raised $79,026 on Kickstarter.

In 2014, 1Hour Break saw what I did with EcoQube and we raised $105,343 on Indiegogo.

In 2015, EcoQube C came out with their new and improved version and we helped raise $375,058 on Kickstarter.

Up until this point, my agency Label Creative lacked focus. We were trying to help ALL types of businesses grow with very mixed results.

But with the launch of EcoQube C, it was clear to me that we had found a new, more effective way for product creators to launch their ecommerce brand...

And we were all in.

Within a month, we rebranded our company to LaunchBoom and set out on the mission to help product creators build profitable, 7-figure ecommerce companies.

I'm proud of what we've built...

... Working with thousands of product creators from 40+ countries.
... Driving over $100M in revenue for clients.
... Becoming a Certified Kickstarter & Indiegogo Expert.
... Building a fully remote team across the world.
... Writing the best selling book in crowdfunding (Seriously! Search "crowdfunding" on Amazon!).

But what I'm most proud of is literally watching our clients lives change as we bring their ideas to life and scale their brands.

10 years ago, Bubba took a chance on a bunch of 20 something year olds to help him launch his first product.

His product was the Give'r 4-Season Gloves...

And those 20 something year olds were my team and I starting up LaunchBoom.

That first Kickstarter did $224,370.

But it was more than a successful product launch... it Kickstarted both Give'r's and LaunchBoom's brands.

Since then, we've helped Bubba launch 3 more products:

1. Ol' Faithful Hoodie, raising $157,416
2. Frontier Mittens, raising $986,672
3. Expedition Split Mittens, raising $570,616

With that last one just finishing up a few weeks ago. 

Looking back at the last 10 years, I'm super grateful to Bubba and the Give'r crew. Without you guys taking a chance on us all those years ago, I don't think we'd be where we are today.

Managed six rep firms covering 24 states in the Midwest and along the Eastern seaboard of the US.  Responsibilities included sales and engineering support for both standard and custom monochrome LCDs and color TFTs, design consultation, contract negotiation, supply chain management, contract manufacturing, presentations, sales training.

Interfaced with Hong Kong daily and traveled frequently to domestic and international locations to support our customers and sales team.

Bridgestone Golf

Managed golf equipment sales for San Diego and Riverside counties at on course golf shop and off course retail accounts.  Responsibilities included achieving sales goals across multiple product categories, conducting product seminars, merchandising products and promotional materials to maximize brand visibility and in-store sales.

Territory Sales Manager- Southern California

Opened the West Coast Office for Bridgestone Golf USA in Irvine, CA.  Worked closely with the VP of R&D/ Manufacturing and R&D staff from Japan to establish the national club and ball fitting program for Bridgestone Golf.  As the only native English speaker in the office, I had many responsibilities including company wide presentations and communications.  Trained national sales force in club fitting techniques, club and shaft technology, worked with PGA Tour players to evaluate prototype products, provided marketing and performance feedback for product planning, managed daily operations of Golfers Dock Club Fitting Program.

Product Development Phase (5-6 months total):
architecture development (3-4 weeks), sourcing (3-4 weeks), cost estimation (based on previous steps), electrical and mechanical engineering (4-12 weeks), prototyping and design iteration (4-6 weeks), firmware engineering (4-12 weeks), finalize design package for RFQ process (1-2 weeks)

New Product Introduction (NPI) Phase (5-6 months total):
supplier selection (2-4 weeks if you already have a supplier network), DFM (2-4 weeks), tooling (8-10 weeks), certifications (4+ weeks for UL, CE, FCC, UN38.3, etc), packaging design and sourcing (3-4 weeks), material procurement strategy (based on lead time and cash flow analysis), production ramp up (4-8 weeks), mass production (ongoing based on demand and capacity), logistics (2-6 weeks based on air vs ocean), etc.
