I used to be a high-performer stuck in a low-performance body.

Open LinkedIn & you’ll see people saying:

“My impressions suddenly dropped”
“Now you need to pay for Ads to get reach”
“LinkedIn promotes male profiles more than female”

Because of the LinkedIn algorithm change.

In fact, it's a normal thing, every social media evolves with time.

Honestly, there is no escape if you just keep blaming it.

The anatomy of content (after studying 100+ posts)

Content is often misunderstood.

What we think:

“Content is a luck game.”
“Viral content equals more business enquiries”
“You need a huge audience before content works.”

And as a result we keep experimenting randomly.

Meanwhile we never understand it.

Think of “content” as a multipurpose marketing tool.

And this marketing tool has to:

•  generate organic traffic for you.
•  build trust with your audience.
•  prove that you're an expert.
•  then convince your customers to purchase.

It’s a lot of tasks that alone content has to do. Isn’t it?

And… 

One single VIRAL post & LUCK can’t do this alone.

But a consistent effort with strategy can…

For that we need to first understand the “anatomy of content.”

It’s curated, structured and delivered with intent.

Ask 5 people what personal branding is, you’ll get 7 definitions.

We made it confusing & also started doing it the wrong way.

Here's what happens when you do it the wrong way:

“You don’t share any bold opinions and point of view.”
“You keep agreeing with everything to avoid friction.”
“You’re playing it too safe as if you’re hiding behind.”

You then become "Google" for the sake of Personal Branding.

You share information - that’s it! 🤦‍♂️

And information alone doesn’t create influence.

When we say “Personal” Brand…

We're talking about leadership.
We're talking about the thoughts, vision & opinions of a leader.

But most people FEAR that "not everyone will agree with you."

And as a leader, you need like-minded people and to do that, you need to SACRIFICE with some group of people and that’s OK.

That’s how you stand out, that’s how you become influential.

For example, in marketing…

Some leaders believe in organic and some in paid marketing.
Some leaders believe in direct push sales and some in inbound sales.

And that’s OK, both of them have their own vision AND both are right.

So what personal branding actually is…

It is a clear narrative about 

🤌 who you are
🤌 what you stand for 
🤌 why your perspective is worth following

People don’t follow information. They follow leaders with CONVICTION.

You’re forced to create "specific content" on LinkedIn.

And honestly, I disagree with this...

Yes, LinkedIn is professional.
Yes, it’s full of decision-makers.
Yes, it’s business-oriented.

But if all your content is created only for your → ideal client

Then don’t call it Personal Branding.

Call it Business Branding, simple.

Yes, everyone wants to grow their business, but:

What about sharing your personal thoughts, opinions?
What about helping people who are behind us?
What about sharing an emotion you have?

Business is not only based on expertise but also on relation, emotion & trust.

I will not work with a skilled person whom I don’t trust.
I may work with a mid-skilled person whom I trust.

Many of us make LinkedIn so much “transactional.”

But in reality, you can grow 10x if you also go “relational.”

"Relational" becomes a leader & "Transactional" becomes just an entrepreneur.

AI has divided people into 2 groups.

And funny that both groups are using it.

One is blaming it and the other praising it.

Look, you've seen a lot of people saying:

“AI ruined creativity.”
“Content feels fake now.”
“Everyone sounds the same.”
“If you use AI, you’re not a real writer.”

So what’s the right way to look at it?

Not as “AI is good” or “AI is bad.”

That debate has no end.

The real difference comes down to knowing where AI actually helps and where it doesn’t.

And in content creation, that line is pretty clear.

Here’s the breakdown:


✅ Where AI wins (right now)

- Turning one idea into 10 angles, hooks or outlines.
- Get a first draft instead of starting from scratch & then refine.
- Cleaning messy thoughts into a readable flow. (My favourite)
- Identifying what formats, hooks and styles perform well.
- Tightening language, removing fluff, correcting grammar.


❌ Where AI doesn’t win (and likely won’t soon)

- Knowing what not to say is still human.
- It mixes ideas well, but it doesn’t believe in anything. 
- Understanding nuance, context and cultural moments.
- AI doesn’t stand behind opinions, people do.
- It can’t judge the output it has generated, whether it is good or not. An expert can only validate.


At the end, my request to all people using AI.

Please try to evaluate your output, whether it is good or not.

Lack of evaluation & being lazy are the things that are flooding LinkedIn with AI slop.

Let’s get more aware ✌️

Looking back at 2025, it exposed the real devils.

This morning, I was reflecting on the whole year.

What a crazy year, it actually changed me totally.

Tbh, I’ve encountered lots of challenges this year.

And then I got an idea to list out the main devils.

There are so many by the way…

But today, I’ll tell you the 4 devils I encountered while creating content.

1. Algorithm: LinkedIn algorithm really dominated this year. So many people are facing issues with their reach, but the real issue is why you are not evolving. This is the high time to find out what the change is all about and strike while the iron is hot.

I’ve found out that the new algorithm is all interest-based, no matter how many followers you have, but if your content sends consistent signals, the algorithm will reward you. The biggest lesson for me was to avoid jumping across topics and stay committed to 2 or 3 core themes.

2. Inconsistency: This one literally impacted me massively. I took a few long breaks this year due to some international offline projects & a busy schedule, which ended up hurting my reach when I restarted. That’s when I realised consistency & momentum are as important as the quality of your content on LinkedIn.

Note: Consistency doesn’t mean posting daily, but posting at least 2-3 times per week.

3. AI Monster: I’m really tired of seeing that AI copy even from some reputed accounts that I follow very passionately. The problem now lies with entrepreneurs. Previously, they relied on subject matter experts for guidance, but now many depend solely on AI tools and cut out experts. 

This often leads to poor decisions...as they lack domain expertise and AI outputs are not always reliable, ultimately creating more issues and mediocre content coming up on LinkedIn.


Finally, the devils will always be there, but they lose power once you name them.
