Stress lives in your body, not your mind

Here's what most people get wrong:

They think stress is all mental.

Something you can "think" your way out of. 

But stress is a physiological response. 

When you experience stress, your body floods with cortisol + adrenaline. 

Your heart races. 
Your muscles tense. 
Your nervous system shifts into survival mode.

This is the stress cycle
… and it's meant to be completed.

In nature, animals shake, run, or release the tension after a threat passes. 

But we? 

We sit in meetings. 
We suppress. 
We carry it forward.

And you don’t need a gym.

Focus on big moves:

• Squat or split squat
• Hip hinge (deadlift pattern)
• Push (push-ups)
• Pull (rows)
• Carry or core (farmer hold, dead bug)

Pair that with:

☑︎ Enough protein at each meal
☑︎ A small calorie deficit you can actually live with
☑︎ Daily stress release (walks, breathwork, somatic movement, early bedtime)

Then give it 6–8 weeks.

E. wanted to drop 12kg (24lbs) and have more muscle

The biggest mistake?

Jumping into advanced exercises before building foundational strength.

Most people think they need to do traditional push-ups right away.

→ Week 4-6: Table push-ups
→ Week 7-9: Bench push-ups

We met him where he was and built from there.

This ain’t soft work. It is the hardest and most precise work I know.

It requires:

→ understanding your specific nervous system patterns, not generic stress management

→ addressing the root biological dysregulation that creates your particular flavour of self-sabotage

→ building the kind of regulated presence that makes you not just heard, but felt by the people you're trying to reach.

Break your current paradigm (aka reality).

How I “break fast” as a cyclist, endurance athlete, burning thousands of calories a day. 🍽️🚴🏻‍♀️

I don't eat “breakfast”, but I “break fast” at around 11-12 because that suits MY schedule.

The word breakfast literally means to break the fast, the overnight fast your body goes through while sleeping. So technically, breakfast is just your first meal of the day, no matter what time you eat it.

💣 BOMB DROP: Breakfast, being the most important meal of the day, was actually made up by big food companies. In the early 1900s, John Harvey Kellogg (yeah, that Kellogg) pushed cereal as a 'healthy' way to start the day… mostly to sell processed grains.

Later, PR firms paid for studies and headlines that said skipping breakfast was bad for you. Sound familiar?
