TikTok Shop recently announced a major ambiguous shipping change that confused a lot of sellers.

Here’s what’s actually happening.

Starting February 25, 2026, TikTok Shop is discontinuing Seller Shipping.

Sellers will be required to fulfill orders through one of TikTok’s approved logistics paths:

• Fulfilled by TikTok (FBT)
• Upgraded TikTok Shipping
• Collection by TikTok (CBT)
• Approved ERP or shipping integrations

That part was clear. 

What wasn’t clear is what this means for brands using Amazon MCF.

TikTok did not mention Amazon anywhere in the announcement.

That led many sellers to assume Amazon MCF was being shut off.

It’s not. Amazon MCF is still allowed.

TikTok simply isn’t going to advertise or promote Amazon as a solution for obvious reasons.

But operationally, nothing has changed.

If you are routing orders through an approved ERP or shipping integration that connects to Amazon MCF, you can continue using it.

This update is about control and reliability, not banning external fulfillment.

TikTok wants:
• Faster delivery

That’s why they are pushing FBT and tighter integrations.

The announcement was vague, and that caused unnecessary panic.

But the takeaway is simple.

Seller Shipping is going away. Amazon MCF is not.

• Decide whether FBT makes sense for their SKU mix
