Our 8th Annual NYC Retails and Sales Pet Expo is taking place on Tuesday, May 12, 2020!

At this B2B event Retailers, Groomers, Veterinarians, Media, Pet influencers and come to meet our vendors from around the country and world to learn about new and innovative pet products right in the heart of NYC.  Pet Age Magazine has been our Presenting Media Sponsor for all of our shows and we are grateful for their support and help with our event. 

Five shows have been held in the past 4 years and with 2 and 3 time repeat vendors. Created program for the Town of Islip offering Free! Responsible Dog Ownership Classes to the public. Which is now going Island Wide and is being offered across Long Island In Various locations to offer this class.  Canine Company is presenting sponsor! Responsible for writing the curriculum, promoting, organizing, planning, hiring trainers and vets for each and every class.  Offered twice a month, parents are encouraged to bring their children 10 and over.  This class is for people only!  We educate people on the basics of: puppy and dog behavior, basic training techniques and tools, health and nutrition, dog park etiquette, children and dogs, and NYS dog laws.

Brought the program to the Town of Huntington as well and taught it there from 2008 - 2010. 

This program is the first of it's kind in all of NYS!  Reaching over 2,000 people so far.

Coordinated with the shipping department with the move in and out dates of booths both domestic and internationally, responsible for budgetary targets within our department, oversaw travel preparations for supervisors’, and maintained communication between all supervisors while they were on site. Met bi-weekly with all departments to ensure all clients need were met.

Leading over 150+ in-person educational networking events, seminars, fundraisers, and has hosted hundreds of online networking events, educational webinars for pet industry professionals.  Nancy has planned, promoted, organized, hosted, and co-hosted over 1,000 pet events in the past decade. Nancy worked as a public relations expert for over 14 years with pet companies in many aspects of PR, event planning, media relations and training for pet professionals. Nancy also co-hosted the boutique B2B trade show, NYC Re-Tails & Sales Pet Expo, every spring since 2014. Nancy also is a speaker at various pet industry conferences for over a decade, a columnist for pet trade and consumer magazines, a blogger, avid photographer, and was a TV producer and production coordinator for 10+ years.  Nancy created a Responsible Dog Ownership program and taught over 2,500 pet parents in a 5-year period. Awarded the 2018 Women of Influence by Pet Age Magazine and American Pet Professionals was voted Best Networking Organization three years in a row by LI Press newspaper.  Nancy resides on Long Island, NY, and is the proud pet parent of Cody, a rescued American Pit Bull Terrier.
