Invited to be a co-curator of the 2020 edition of Lux Helsinki festival, where I had the opportunity to pick and curate 3 art pieces by 3 different artists/groups - 3dsense from CZ, Janne Ahola from FI and Nohlab from TU. The festival was attended by well over 600.000 people and the reactions were great. Thanks for the opportunity!

I was elected a first serving president of ILO. My goal is to found, conceptualise and start the smooth running of the whole organization.

For over three years, the International Light festival Organization (ILO) has been uniting European and worldwide light festivals. The ILO members are the core element which makes the Organization an open, influential, international place for any light festival that wants to be a part of a light festival community.

Light festivals have been working together internationally since the very first developments of light festivals. ILO brings light festivals together to inspire one another, to foster an exchange of knowledge, to help the festivals with ideas , to search for solutions, increase networking opportunities, and keep festivals informed about issues at stake in the festival and cultural world. All from a viewpoint of artistic excellence and internationalization.

Tahle zmínka ve Flauntu nás fakt potěšila. Není to magazín, který píše o každém. Sledují věci, které něco posouvají. A když tam skončí Signal, víš, že to začíná rezonovat i mimo naši scénu.

Líbí se mi, jak popisují Prahu — město vrstev, historie, starých forem. A do toho digitální umění, světlo, technologie. Přesně ten střet, ve kterém Signal Festival i Signal Space žijí. Je fajn vidět, že to někdo zvenku čte stejně a chápe, proč to děláme.

This Flaunt feature made me genuinely happy. They don’t write about just anything. They pick projects that push things forward. Seeing Signal there means it’s starting to land beyond our usual circle.

I like how they describe Prague — a city of layers, history, old structures everywhere. And into that, digital art, light, tech. That collision is exactly where Signal Festival and Signal Space operate. Feels good to see someone from the outside understand it for what it is.

Signal Space je letos součástí Korzo Národní ve spolupráci s Díky, že můžem ✌️🇨🇿

V naší nové galerii digitálního umění otevíráme 17. listopadu hravý workshop Sousedi z paneláku – celodenní program, kde se děti stanou architekty, sochaři i urbanisty.
Postaví vlastní sídliště, navrhnou veřejný prostor a zkusí si, jaké příběhy se skrývají za okny paneláků. Novodobá panelstory bez nostalgie a bez filtru.

Workshop probíhá v Signal Space, jehož součástí je i interaktivní herna Signal Playground. A právě na 17. listopad nabízíme 17% slevu na vstup – platí pouze na místě.

From October 16 to 18, the French Institut in Prague and Réseau HACNUM brought the digital art scene to life with #DigitalDays, a professional event organized in partnership with the Signal Festival 💡

👉 3 days filled with inspiring talks, creative workshops, and dynamic showcases to foster collaboration between French and Czech digital art professionals and strengthen the sector at the European level.

A delegation of fifteen French professionals met their Czech counterparts, new connections, emerging projects, and a shared energy shaping the future of digital arts in Europe 🌍

Du 16 au 18 octobre, l’Institut français de Prague et HACNUM ont fait vibrer la scène des arts numériques avec les Digital Days, un événement professionnel organisé en partenariat avec le Signal Festival 💡

👉 Trois jours d’échanges intenses, d’ateliers inspirants et de showcases créatifs pour renforcer les liens entre les acteurs français et tchèques du numérique et structurer la filière à l’échelle européenne.

Une quinzaine de professionnel·les français·es ont ainsi rencontré leurs homologues tchèques : de belles connexions, des projets qui naissent, et une énergie collective tournée vers l’avenir du digital art en Europe 🌍
