Part of a dynamic team of transport planners who plan the future transportation infrastructure for Singapore. We are responsible for shaping the future transportation network of Singapore that includes identifying, developing and evaluating new road and rail infrastructure projects.

As part of the work, we design and supervise data collection activities, analyse and interpret survey results, develop transport network improvements proposals, forecast travel demand, assess community benefits and determine economic performance. We also work closely with other Government agencies to develop integrated transport-landuse plans and provide transportation planning advice on future land use development initiatives. Part of the role includes extensive community and grassroots engagements with stakeholders, feedback gathering and collaboration / co-creation.

“When do I give up?”

Scott and Levi. Two friends. Two chapters. One unexpected meeting.

Last weekend, something unusual happened.
Two parts of my life -- 35 years apart -- finally collided.

Scott and I met at age 14 in Pittsburgh, my hometown.
High school sidekicks, inseparable from the start.

Málnay B. Levente and I met at age 26 in Budapest, my adopted city.
We grew into senior execs in the TV industry, pushing each other to grow.

When Levi joined me for a weekend visit to Pittsburgh, we all sat down for lunch.
Within minutes, they clicked.
Like they’d known each other for years.

That’s when it hit me:
They’re the same kind of person, in two different forms.
