The longer I'm in marketing, and the more I learn, the more I see brands wasting opportunity for insane ROI.

Things like Reddit, YouTube (organic + ads), TikTok... 

Brand owners/clients say "I don't know if I should do this" or "We don't really know if it's worth it"

My dudes. In the time spent on your last call you could have answered 3 Reddit posts that are squarely in your market, making people aware that you exist without ANY further effort, probably for another 2-3 years (as more content outranks it).

TikTok: I personally follow 2 people whose videos were served to me on TT, that I did not search for. They're both absolute pros in their fields and no Google Analytics will ever show I found them on TT.

YouTube (organic): the next frontier of content that just keeps putting you in front of your buyers (if you do it w/ SEO etc).

You don't have to be a master in these to get started, and there are TONS of people on this platform who'll teach you for free or for $$$ and get you results.

You have to put ALL your core knowledge/beliefs as a brand onto ALL these channels. THAT'S how you lower CAC, because you're getting more traffic with organic traffic (stuff that ranks on these search engines) vs ads.

The days of seeing SEO as Google only are over. Other channels have ads but the core of their experiences are serving organic (non-ad) content. You can and should get on this because you're not paying for placement with $, you're paying with a few minutes of your time/effort.

Still do ads. But supplement that sh-- with organic channels OUTSIDE of Google.

After Google announced the integration of social channels into Search Console, the distinction between web entities and websites has become more visible than ever.

Google first connected social profiles to Knowledge Panels. Then they integrated them into Google Business Profiles and local panels. Now, social performance across SERPs and AI results is being reflected inside Search Console. They are also actively showcasing posts from your official social accounts directly within Google Business Profiles.

If you do not post consistently, you stay invisible.
If you post regularly, you earn the “Social Updates” visibility under your brand name.

During testing across multiple Google Business Profiles with specific local and service-based mentions, I observed something important:
Indexed URLs from forum contexts and the Web vertical, across multiple SERP branches, are contributing directly to stronger Map Pack rankings.

This means one thing clearly:
You are no longer optimizing a website. You are optimizing a web entity.

My recommendation is simple and strategic:
Integrate social media automation and management directly into your SEO systems.
Review your log files. Analyze how many referred crawls from Google user agents originate from social platforms. Google uses social channels to discover freshness signals and recent updates.
Compare how many indexed URLs exist for your brand across social platforms. That indexation is now part of your entity footprint.

SEO is no longer isolated to your domain.
It is distributed across your entire digital identity.

📈 SaaS SEO Case Update (English Market)

Last 6 months vs previous period:

• Total Clicks: 24.4K → +255.63% (from 6.86K)
• Total Impressions: 11.2M → +84.48% (from 6.08M)
• Average CTR: 0.2% → +100% (from 0.1%)
• Average Position: 6.4 → ↑ 16.88% (from 7.7)

Industry: SaaS
Language: English
Content Volume: Only 13 documents under a single sub-folder.

Why this worked

The key factor here is how Google classifies the website.

Google differentiates between:
• Content-only websites
• Functional websites

If you clearly demonstrate the functional value of your product or technology, you can pass certain ranking thresholds much faster, even with minimal content.

Above-the-fold design matters

There are four common patterns Google evaluates:

1️⃣ Function first, content later
2️⃣ Function and content together
3️⃣ Content first, function later
4️⃣ Content only, function on another page

👉 We deliberately used “Function First, Content Later.”

The moment a user lands on the page, they can use the technology immediately.

This aligns with what Google refers to as Center-Piece Annotation — a signal used to evaluate whether a page directly satisfies the intent behind the query.

Important nuance

Even for purely informational queries (e.g., “where to meet …”):

• You can rank for featured snippets
• The user can still see interactive inputs, submission buttons, and visual representations above the fold
• The H1 and contextual explanation can come later, without hurting rankings

This flips the traditional “content first” mindset.

Experience amplifies function

We didn’t stop at functionality.

We reinforced it with:
• User preference components
• Past success examples
• Experience-driven web components

This helps Google understand perspective, trust, and usefulness, not just keywords.

A global technology brand for which we trained and coached the SEO team over a seven-month period, along with the results achieved during that timeline.

This project is a strong example of what we define as the “source term vector.”

Some websites have a natural relevance for the topics they aim to rank for. If you want to rank for a specific entity and its associated attributes, your source must exist across all relevant indices for that entity.

When you search on Google for an entity + phrase combination, a page from your source should eventually appear. Whether this combination deserves its own page, heading, or sentence is determined by what we conceptualize in our Topical Authority course as:
 • Query Deserves a Page
 • Query Deserves a Heading
 • Query Deserves a Sentence

By properly organizing the contextual vector, structural relationships, and semantic bridges, you can consistently achieve visibility across these indices.

However, information responsiveness is primarily determined by the page components and functional elements present on the document. This is why ranking documents must be evaluated using layout-aware document understanding models to assess whether a page is truly responsive to a query.

For every search query, there is a corresponding search action that the page must support. In our course, we distinguish between search actions and real-world actions, which together represent the central search intent.

Some intents are associated with structured information cards, such as hotel cards or product cards. Others require interactive components like converters, calculators, or input interfaces, while some only require informational content. By implementing the correct central component annotation, you align your page with what Google’s systems are actually attempting to identify and surface.
