Providing a wealth of user experience design, consultancy, web/graphic design and development expertise. Projects have included work for leading bluechip companies in banking/finance, HR, Project Management, health clubs, clothing brands, theatres and more.

I fuse UX design expertise with knowledge in development to create a hybrid function focusing prodominantely on the user. I regularly create prototypes and wireframes, user journeys, user personas and other key UX focused tasks to ensure a seamless experience is always packaged and delivered to a plethora of clients.

Costain Group PLC

My roles within the Costain Group organisation are to provide software development focusing mainly within Microsoft technologies. Working within a development team, I am also currently the sole UX designer of our bespoke software packages which I am tasked with undertaking for each project.

I am certified and accredited in UX Design Processes.

Whilst working within the Costain Group, I have impressed my superiors with my ability to learn new skills and apply these to production projects. An example of this is passing the Microsoft Sharepoint MCTS exams which contributed to the business becoming a Microsoft partner.

On a daily basis I will work on both software development (using such technologies as Sharepoint Designer, Javascript, Infopath, HTML5, CSS3 and other various web development tools) and user experience design (using such tools as Adobe Photoshop, Axure RP Wireframes, Balsamiq Mockups, Visio and Adobe Illustrator). 

The Costain development team work on Sharepoint (2010/2013/365) multi-tenancy farms, Azure websites and VM hosting and bespoke solutions written from the ground up. Within the team, I work full product lifecycle to liaise with the customer and produce bespoke software solutions.

My work at the Costain Group has allowed me to develop my skill set and learn from accomplished lead developers which I feel has progressed my skill set greatly. I am a keen learner and I enjoy the work that I have done and continue to do.
